The role partners closely with Group Finance, operating companies, tax agents, auditors, and regulators to manage corporate income tax, indirect tax, withholding tax, transfer pricing, tax audits, and strategic tax advisory matters. The incumbent will also support business projects, M&A activities, e-Invoicing implementation, and financial analysis initiatives across the Group.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage corporate income tax compliance, quarterly tax provisioning, CP204 submissions, and tax audits.\nOversee indirect tax filings and audit matters.\nReview and advise on withholding tax obligations and remittances.\nEnsure compliance with transfer pricing requirements and Country-by-Country Reporting.\nProvide tax advisory support on business initiatives, investments, M&A, and other strategic projects.\nLiaise with tax agents, auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders on all tax-related matters.\nSupport financial analysis and special projects as directed by management.\nIdeal Candidate Profile\nTechnical Expertise\nStrong knowledge of Malaysian taxation, IRB regulations, transfer pricing, indirect taxes, and withholding tax.\nFamiliarity with international tax principles and Double Tax Agreements (DTA).\nExperience handling tax audits and tax compliance for corporate groups.\nExperience\nAt least 6-10 years of relevant corporate tax experience, preferably within a listed company, financial services, telecommunications, technology, or multinational environment.\nExperience working with multiple entities and group structures.\nQualifications\nDegree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.\nProfessional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CA, or equivalent.\nCFA qualification is an added advantage.\nKey Competencies\nStrong analytical and problem-solving
