With new products and derivatives launched every year, you’ll work in an environment that thrives on \"what's next.\" Our clients are in major industrial sectors including data centers, aerospace & defense, medical, microwave & RF, and 5G wireless.\nThe Project Manager is an experienced and highly motivated professional responsible for leading complex, custom-engineered capital equipment projects from order acceptance through installation, commissioning, and final customer acceptance. This highly visible, customer-facing role oversees the full project lifecycle, ensuring successful execution while maintaining alignment between customer expectations and internal teams. Through strong leadership, proactive problem-solving, and effective cross-functional collaboration, the Project Manager drives projects forward, resolves challenges, and delivers solutions that meet customer requirements and support long-term business relationships.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage projects from order acceptance through SAT and final customer acceptance, ensuring compliance with contractual, technical, quality, schedule, and commercial requirements\n\nServe as the primary point of accountability for project execution and overall customer satisfaction\n\nLead project kickoff meetings, establish objectives and deliverables, and define milestones, schedules, and responsibilities\n\nConduct regular project reviews and status meetings, providing updates and executive-level communications\n\nManage customer expectations regarding project scope, schedule, technical performance, and commercial matters while building strong, long-term relationships\n\nCoordinate customer design reviews, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), installation planning, commissioning, and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)\n\nLead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment, driving alignment and accountability without direct reporting authority\n\nCoordinate activities across Mechanical, Controls, Software, and Application Engineering; Operations and Manufacturing; Supply Chain and Procurement; Sales and Account Management; Service; and Quality\n\nDevelop and maintain integrated project schedules using Microsoft Project or similar tools, monitoring progress against baseline commitments\n\nIdentify schedule risks, remove roadblocks, and implement recovery plans to address delays and maintain project timelines\n\nEstablish, track, and manage project budgets from initiation through closeout\n\nIdentify and escalate critical issues, recommend corrective actions, and drive timely resolution\n\nPartner with Application Engineering and Field Service teams to support startup, commissioning, and successful project completion\n\nExperience and Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, or related technical discipline, PMP Certification preferred\n8+ years of project management experience within semiconductor equipment, automation, capital equipment, advanced manufacturing, or related high-tech industries\nDemonstrated success managing projects valued from several hundred thousand dollars to multi-million-dollar programs\nProven experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix organization\nProven track record of developing and deploying project management frameworks for custom manufacturing equipment organizations, enabling improved schedule predictability, cross-functional execution, customer communication, and on-time project delivery\nStrong customer-facing experience managing strategic customer relationships\nAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Project or equivalent project management applications\nExperience managing project budgets, cost controls, forecasting, and financial reporting\nStrong leadership, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills\nAbility to travel as needed to support customer meetings, FATs, installations, and SAT activities\nExperience working with international projects and global teams as well as ERP systems and project financial controls\nWhy Join Us?\nAt Mycronic, we love what we do, but most importantly who we do it with.
