You will explore markets and customer opportunities, contribute to commercial projects and help turn insights into concrete actions.\nYou will take ownership of selected tasks and projects while getting support and sparring along the way. You will also have the opportunity to participate in customer meetings, internal discussions and selected external activities, giving you first-hand experience of how business development works in practice.\nThe position is approximately 16 hours per week, typically spread across two working days. We offer flexibility, including the possibility of working from home, and will work with you to accommodate classes, exams and other study commitments.\nWhat you will do\nYour work will combine market and customer analysis with hands-on business development and commercial project execution. Depending on the task or project, you will work independently or together with colleagues across MyDefence.\nMarket and business development\nConduct market and customer analyses across relevant industries and geographies.\n\nIdentify potential customer segments, companies and relevant decision-makers.\n\nDevelop proposals for market entry, customer engagement and growth initiatives.\n\nSupport and, when relevant, independently initiate contact with potential customers and partners.\n\nContribute to the development of commercial strategies and plans.\n\nProjects and commercial insights\nBe a part of selected projects and workstreams from analysis to execution.\n\nTurn broad objectives into concrete plans, activities and deliverables and follow up on progress and deadlines.\n\nAnalyse commercial, market and project data and turn it into actionable insights.\n\nCollect and structure feedback from customers, partners and projects\n\nCoordinate with relevant colleagues across MyDefence to move projects and activities forward.\n\nReporting and documentation\nPrepare presentations, analyses and reports for internal and external use.\n\nSupport reporting requirements related to larger projects and initiatives.\n\nMaintain structured documentation, project plans and strategy material.\n\nHelp create structure and follow-up around ongoing Business Development activities.\n\nContribute to reports or publications when relevant.\n\nWho we are looking for\nYou are currently studying and want to gain hands-on experience with business development in an international environment. Students in the early stages of a Master’s degree may be particularly relevant, but your specific field of study is less important than your ability to think analytically, take initiative and learn quickly.\nYou do not need previous professional experience or a traditional business background. We are more interested in what you have taken the initiative to do - whether through studying abroad, entrepreneurship, student organisations, personal projects or other experiences where you have challenged yourself and taken responsibility.\nWe imagine that you bring:\nStrong analytical skills and an ability to turn information and data into clear insights and recommendations.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills and confidence presenting your ideas and participating actively in meetings.\n\nThe ability to communicate professionally with customers and other external stakeholders.\n\nStrong professional English skills.\n\nConfidence using Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word.\n\nA strong digital mindset and the ability to quickly learn new tools and systems for project management, CRM, reporting and analysis.\n\nMost importantly, when given an objective or a problem, you are motivated to move it forward, finding the right approach, asking for input when needed and following through on what you have agreed to deliver.\nWho you are\nYou are curious, independent and comfortable taking ownership.
