If you like owning the numbers end-to-end, not just closing the books but understanding why they look the way they do - this is the place for you.\nYou'll report to the Director of Finance and be a key player in managing the financials of a global tech company run out of Israel.\nThis is a role for someone who moves fast and isn't precious about rolling up sleeves, excels in direct communication, and has a \"let's solve it now\" mentality.\nWhat you'll own\nMonthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting (US GAAP), including close process management and reporting to the Director of Finance. \nStatutory tax filings and full compliance with Israeli tax authorities and regulatory requirements.\nManaging external auditors, tax advisors, and statutory filing deadlines.\nLogistics and financial coordination - working cross-functionally with operations/logistics to ensure financial processes align with the physical/operational side of the business.\nManaging and mentoring the Accounts Payable team - reviewing processes, approvals, and vendor payment cycles.\nStrengthening internal controls, close procedures, AI tools and practices and financial processes as the company scales.\nWhat we're looking for\nBig 4 alumni (Big 4 audit/assurance background strongly preferred) - you know how to build and defend a clean set of books.\nPrior experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller at a tech company - you understand SaaS/tech revenue models and the pace of a tech organization.\nDeep familiarity with Israeli tax and regulatory reporting requirements\nCPA \nStrong Excel skills; comfort working with ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite, SAP or similar).\nFluent Hebrew and English \nA \"get it done\" attitude - you don't wait for permission to fix a broken process\nAbout MyHeritage\nMyHeritage is the leading global discovery platform for exploring family history.
