Our mission is to promote independence and quality of life for those we serve.\nJob Summary:\nWe are seeking a Building Coordinator to join our Programming team. This role is responsible for overseeing the safety, security, and smooth operation of the building and its programs. The Building Coordinator serves as the point person during crisis situations, provides real-time guidance and support to direct care staff, and ensures that the therapeutic environment remains safe and well-organized. The ideal candidate will have strong judgment, leadership skills, and experience in a child caring institution or residential setting.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSafety & Crisis Management\nMonitor and maintain building safety and security at all times\nAct as the primary contact during emergencies such as medical incidents, behavioral crises, severe weather, or security breaches\nCoordinate emergency procedures and communication in real time\nConduct hourly rounds to ensure effective supervision and programming\nStaff Support & Coordination\nProvide in-the-moment coaching, direction, and support to direct care staff\nReview daily coverage and reassign staff to meet program and crisis needs\nDesignate priority staff for crisis intervention or protective supervision\nAccept and notify call-ins to designated staff to ensure adequate shift coverage\nMonitor staff compliance with policies, procedures, and departmental expectations\nProgram & Environment Oversight\nEnsure accurate completion of all required documentation and reports\nMaintain a healthy, safe, and organized physical environment\nSupport the implementation of individualized plans and therapeutic programming\nSchedule:\nShifts are scheduled as determined by the Programming Directors\nFlexibility is required, including participation in weekend and holiday rotation as necessary\nMust be able to respond promptly to emergency situations\nMust be able to stay alert during all assigned shifts\nComprehensive Employee Benefits Package\nAt T.C.
