This vital role supports the daily operations of our residential programs and lead teams of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.\nWhether you are an experienced manager or looking to grow into a leadership position, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day. This role combines hands-on care, staff development, and operational oversight within a structured, therapeutic, and empowering environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nResident Care & Support\nOversee the implementation of daily care routines, individual support plans (ISPs), and therapeutic behavior plans (TBPs).\nEnsure medication administration, hygiene, and nutritional protocols are followed accurately and respectfully.\nParticipate in resident activities and outings to model support and encourage engagement.\nMonitor health and safety while ensuring all required documentation is accurate and timely.\nStaff Leadership & Development\nProvide direct supervision, mentorship, and performance feedback to Assistant Program Managers and Direct Support Professionals.\nConduct monthly consultations and complete bi-annual and annual performance reviews.\nSupport new hire training, onboarding, and reinforcement of care protocols and behavior management strategies.\nPromote a positive, collaborative team environment by demonstrating strong leadership presence and actively supporting crisis intervention when needed.\nOperational Management\nCreate and maintain staff schedules, transportation plans, and activity calendars.\nRespond to call-ins, manage coverage, and ensure program ratios and safety are maintained.\nMaintain oversight of the physical environment, vehicles, and resident finances.\nComplete incident reports, goal tracking, daily logs, and other required documentation.\nCommunication & Collaboration\nCollaborate with the Program Coordinator and team members to meet resident and program needs.\nMaintain clear, professional communication with residents, staff, guardians, external providers, and stakeholders.\nAttend ISP and medication review meetings, contributing meaningful input about resident progress.\nSchedule\nFull-time (40+ hours per week) providing hands-on leadership and direction to both program staff and residents.\nFlexibility is required to meet the evolving needs of the residents and team, including participation in the on-call rotation.\nWeekends, evenings, and holidays may be required based on staffing or resident needs.\nRegular travel to community settings and off-site activities is expected.\nComprehensive Employee Benefits Package\nAt Prader-Willi Homes, a MyPath Company, we are committed to supporting our employees' well-being, financial security, and professional growth. College degree in a human services field preferred.\nAt least one year experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral needs, or in residential settings.\nAt least one year of Leadership or supervisory experience.\nOngoing participation in paid, in-service training is required-and we’ll support your learning every step of the way\nRequired Skills & Attributes\nAbility to maintain a calm and effective demeanor in emergency and stressful situations.\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality care.\nDemonstrated ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions while effectively multitasking and prioritizing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to effectively implement approved physical intervention techniques.\nAdditional Requirements\nMust be at least 18 years old.\nMust possess a valid Driver's License and have an acceptable driving record.\nWillingness to work with residents in a variety of environments, including home, recreational, and community settings.\nAdditional Information\nMyPath and its Operating Companies provide specialized services and dignified care for children, adolescents and adults with special needs.
