In this role, you’ll be part of a caring, collaborative team supporting students with diverse academic, behavioral, and therapeutic needs. You’ll help create a safe, engaging learning environment where every student can grow, participate, and succeed.\nWhether you're beginning your career in education or bringing valuable experience, your flexibility, positivity, and compassion matter most.\nWhat You’ll Do\nSupport classrooms across the school with daily lessons, activities, and supervision\nEngage students in 1:1 and small-group learning to build academic and social skills\nAssist with behavioral support using trauma-informed and approved de-escalation techniques\nHelp implement IEP goals and classroom strategies designed by teachers and treatment team\nSupport sensory breaks, transitions, specials, and unstructured times\nDocument student progress, behavior data, and required reports\nCollaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to provide consistent care\nModel professionalism, patience, and positive communication every day\nWhat You’ll Bring\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred\nExperience working with students with disabilities is helpful but not required\nA calm, adaptable, and student-centered approach\nStrong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills\nAbility to follow behavior plans and use physical intervention techniques once trained\nWhat You’ll Gain\n Schedule: Monday-Friday, between 9:00am - 3:00pm (school-year with calendar with summers off), Part Time working up 25 hours per week\nStarting Pay: $20.00 per hour\n Part-Time Benefits (20+ hours/week):401(k) with MyPath Financial Wellness Resources\nEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)\nOn-demand access to earned wages\nTuition reimbursement\nAccident, Critical Illness & Hospital Indemnity Insurance\nPTO accrual & Employee Assistance Program (EAP)\nEmployee discount program through PerkSpot\n\nAt The Richardson School, we value our employees and are committed to offering meaningful benefits that support your well-being, growth, and success.\nAdditional Information\nMyPath and its Operating Companies provide specialized services and dignified care for children, adolescents and adults with special needs.
