In this role, you will turn complex data into practical insights that support better decisions across the business.\nWorking closely with stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Product, Operations, Technology and Distribution, you will build trusted analytical data assets, develop dashboards and reporting, automate recurring analysis, and help improve the way data is understood and used across HUB24.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nGather, transform, validate and analyse data from internal and external sources.\nBuild and maintain analytical data assets and data models for reporting, dashboards and automation.\nDevelop clear dashboards, reports, visualisations and presentations that support business decisions.\nUse SQL, Python and relevant analytics tools to automate analysis and improve delivery efficiency.\nApply statistical methods to identify trends, explain performance and solve business problems.\nSupport advanced analytics and machine learning activities where appropriate.\nPartner with business stakeholders to understand priorities, clarify requirements and prioritise analytics initiatives.\nCollaborate with data engineering, development and visualisation teams to deliver end-to-end analytics outcomes.\nContribute to data quality, validation, governance and secure data-handling practices.\nProvide commercial insights that strengthen execution, strategic planning and client opportunities.\nWhat you bring\nYou don’t need to tick every box, but experience in the below will set you up for success.\nExperience & Skills\nA bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics or a related discipline, with knowledge of advanced statistical techniques.\nPractical programming experience in SQL and Python.\nStrong analytical, design and critical-thinking skills.\nThe ability to translate business questions into clear, practical analytics solutions.\nStrong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.\nA structured approach, attention to detail and a continuous-improvement mindset.\nThe ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-moving environment.\nExperience in financial services or data analytics consulting.\nHighly regarded\nExperience in advanced statistical modelling that has delivered measurable business outcomes.\nExperience with Databricks and dbt.\nExperience using analytics across customer, marketing, operations or process optimisation.\nOur process\nWe aim to keep the process simple and respectful of your time:\nYou’ll receive an acknowledgement after applying.\nOur Talent team will review your application and keep you updated.\nIf shortlisted, we’ll connect to learn more about you.\nInterviews may be virtual or in person.\nYou’ll receive an outcome and feedback.\nIf you need any adjustments, please let us know - we’re here to support you.\nOur commitment\nWe’re committed to building an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported to do their best work.
