You will develop scalable analytics solutions, apply advanced analytical and statistical techniques, and use data to support better decision-making and measurable improvements in business performance.\nWorking closely with Data Strategy & Analytics and stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Product, Operations, Technology, Distribution and Business Development, you will act as a trusted analytics partner and help embed data-led decision-making across the organisation.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nPartner with business stakeholders to understand strategic priorities, business challenges and opportunities where analytics can add value.\nDesign and develop reliable, scalable analytics solutions that address business needs and support measurable outcomes.\nAnalyse complex datasets and translate findings into clear, objective and actionable business insights.\nApply advanced statistical and analytical techniques to identify opportunities and improve business processes, decision-making and performance.\nBuild a strong understanding of the organisation's data landscape and identify relevant data assets to support business initiatives.\nWork closely with Data Strategy & Analytics teams, including data development and visualisation specialists, to deliver end-to-end analytics initiatives.\nAct as a key connection between the broader analytics function and business stakeholders, helping assess and prioritise strategic programmes and ad-hoc analytics requests.\nCoordinate dependencies including resourcing, technical requirements and delivery schedules, and communicate these effectively to stakeholders.\nSupport strategic initiatives and client opportunities through detailed analysis, commercial insights and data-driven recommendations.\nBuild trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and influence key decisions using evidence-based insights.\nCommunicate complex analytical findings clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nPromote continuous improvement and identify opportunities to increase the maturity and effectiveness of analytics across the business.\nWhat you bring\nYou don’t need to tick every box, but experience in the below will set you up for success.\nExperience & Skills\nBachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related quantitative discipline, with a strong understanding of advanced statistical techniques.\nStrong programming capability in SQL and Python.\nDemonstrated experience delivering analytics solutions that produce measurable business outcomes.\nExperience applying advanced statistical modelling and analytical techniques to real-world business problems.\nStrong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.\nProven experience partnering with multiple business units and influencing business decisions through data and analytics.\nAbility to translate complex analysis into clear commercial insights and recommendations.\nStrong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.\nAbility to build credibility and trusted working relationships with stakeholders at different levels of an organisation.\nExperience within financial services and/or data analytics consulting.\nAbility to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across multidisciplinary teams.\nStrong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality work and commercial outcomes.\nAdaptable and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, changing environment.\nDesirable\nExperience with Databricks and dbt.\nExperience applying analytics within customer, marketing or operational environments.\nExperience using data to support process optimisation and continuous improvement.\nOur process\nWe aim to keep the process simple and respectful of your time:\nYou’ll receive an acknowledgement after applying.\nOur Talent team will review your application and keep you updated.\nIf shortlisted, we’ll connect to learn more about you.\nInterviews may be virtual or in person.\nYou’ll receive an outcome and feedback.\nIf you need any adjustments, please let us know - we’re here to support you.\nOur commitment\nWe’re committed to building an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported to do their best work.
