You’ll lead technical delivery, establish strong infrastructure-as-code practices, troubleshoot complex environments and mentor engineers while partnering closely with Architecture, Security, DevOps, Network and Application teams.\nYou’ll also contribute to AI and automation initiatives, helping identify and implement opportunities to automate engineering and operational processes securely and effectively.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nDesign, deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure across GCP and AWS, with a primary focus on GCP.\nBuild and maintain reusable Terraform modules and manage infrastructure as code across multiple environments.\nLead technical delivery, including code and PR reviews, solution design and implementation planning.\nEstablish and promote cloud, IaC and engineering standards and best practices.\nTroubleshoot complex cloud, networking, security, infrastructure and identity issues across production and non-production environments.\nBuild and enhance CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.\nResolve discrepancies between deployed infrastructure and Terraform state.\nDevelop technical documentation, architecture artefacts, operational procedures and runbooks.\nWork closely with Development, DevOps, Security, Cloud, Network and Operations teams to ensure reliable, secure and scalable solutions.\nMentor engineers and contribute to uplifting the technical capability and operational maturity of the team.\nSupport deployments and incident response activities, including occasional after-hours support.\nWhat you bring\nYou don’t need to tick every box, but experience in the below will set you up for success.\nExperience & Skills\n8+ years’ IT experience, including at least 5 years in engineering roles.\nStrong production engineering experience with GCP and/or AWS, ideally with deep GCP capability.\nAdvanced hands-on experience with Terraform, including modules, state management, pipelines and multi-environment deployments.\nSolid knowledge of cloud architecture, networking, security and identity.\nExperience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible.\nStrong experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps or similar version-control and delivery platforms.\nExperience building CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Bamboo, Harness or comparable tools.\nExperience with enterprise monitoring, observability, logging and alerting.\nFamiliarity with Docker and Kubernetes.\nScripting skills using Python, Bash or PowerShell.\nDemonstrated experience designing and implementing technical solutions and leading technical delivery.\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving and communication skills.\nAbility to mentor engineers, collaborate across technical teams and work autonomously.\nA relevant IT qualification, industry certification or equivalent professional experience.\nCloud, automation, networking, infrastructure or security certifications are highly regarded.\nOur process\nWe aim to keep the process simple and respectful of your time:\nYou’ll receive an acknowledgement after applying.\nOur Talent team will review your application and keep you updated.\nIf shortlisted, we’ll connect to learn more about you.\nInterviews may be virtual or in person.\nYou’ll receive an outcome and feedback.\nIf you need any adjustments, please let us know - we’re here to support you.\nOur commitment\nWe’re committed to building an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported to do their best work.
