In this role, you will design and deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that empower advisers and improve access to financial guidance. You’ll work within our Platform Engineering team, contributing to innovative, cross-product initiatives focused on modernisation, efficiency, and AI enablement, while collaborating with experienced engineers in an agile environment.Responsibilities:\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable applications and microservices\nDevelop and optimise APIs for seamless system integrations\nContribute to AI-driven engineering practices and innovation initiatives\nWrite clean, testable, and maintainable code aligned with best practices\nImprove system performance, scalability, and data access patterns\nParticipate in code reviews and continuously uplift engineering standards\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions\nSupport system maintenance, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancements\nContribute to documentation, coding standards, and continuous improvement initiatives\nRequirements:\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Computer/Software Engineering or equivalent\n3+ years’ experience as a Software Engineer\nStrong experience with Node.js (Nest.js desirable) and modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript)\nExperience with relational (SQL Server) and non-relational databases (e.g. MongoDB)\nExposure to cloud environments (GCP preferred)\nExperience building APIs, microservices, and scalable applications\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile/Scrum methodologies\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills\nNice to have:\nExperience with AI tools (e.g. Copilot, Claude)\nGolang or .NET (C#) experience\nBackground in financial services or fintech\nThe Recruitment Process\nAcknowledgement email once your application has been submitted.\n\nOur Talent team will start reviewing your application.
