Working closely with architecture, engineering, development and operations teams, you'll help embed secure engineering practices, improve cyber resilience and support the delivery of security solutions aligned to our Cyber Security roadmap.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a security professional who enjoys balancing technical depth with stakeholder engagement, influencing teams across the organisation and delivering practical security outcomes in a highly regulated environment.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nAnalyse HUB24's security posture and identify opportunities to improve security controls, processes and capabilities.\nDesign, implement and coordinate security solutions across cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments.\nLead and support security initiatives aligned to the Cyber Security & Governance roadmap.\nPartner with architecture, engineering and development teams to embed security and privacy requirements into technology solutions.\nConduct security reviews and provide guidance to ensure solutions are secure by design.\nSupport Security Operations through technical escalation, consultation and security expertise.\nContribute to the development and implementation of information security policies, standards and frameworks.\nAssist with audit, regulatory and compliance activities, including security assessments, gap analysis, vulnerability management and Threat & Risk Assessments.\nProvide technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to technology and cyber security teams across HUB24.\nCollaborate with vendors and stakeholders to deliver security outcomes and manage technology risks effectively.\nLeverage threat intelligence, emerging security trends and industry best practices to support strategic decision making.\nMaintain accurate technical documentation, reporting and knowledge-sharing artefacts.\nContribute to the ongoing evolution of HUB24's Cyber Security strategy and roadmap.\nWhat you bring\nYou don’t need to tick every box, but experience in the below will set you up for success.\nExperience & Skills\n5+ years' experience in cyber security, systems engineering or a related technology role.\nStrong experience across cloud and on-premises infrastructure, networking and security technologies.\nDemonstrated experience designing and implementing security solutions such as:Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)\nVulnerability Management\nPrivileged Access Management (PAM)\nIdentity and Access Management (IAM)\nSecurity Monitoring and SIEM platforms\nMicrosoft Purview and related security technologies\n\nExperience conducting security reviews and applying secure-by-design principles.\nWorking knowledge of security frameworks and standards including ISO 27001, NIST and the ACSC Essential Eight.\nExperience working with security tools including SIEM, VMDR, EASM, EDR and related security platforms.\nUnderstanding of risk management, security governance and regulatory compliance requirements.\nFamiliarity with ITIL practices and operational support processes.\nQualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.\nIndustry certifications such as CISSP highly regarded.\nPersonal Attributes\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.\nAbility to work autonomously and effectively manage competing priorities.\nCollaborative and team-oriented approach with a passion for mentoring others.\nContinuous improvement mindset with a desire to drive better security outcomes.\nPractical problem-solver who balances security risk with business objectives.\nOur process\nWe aim to keep the process simple and respectful of your time:\nYou’ll receive an acknowledgement after applying.\nOur Talent team will review your application and keep you updated.\nIf shortlisted, we’ll connect to learn more about you.\nInterviews may be virtual or in person.\nYou’ll receive an outcome and feedback.\nIf you need any adjustments, please let us know - we’re here to support you.\nOur commitment\nWe’re committed to building an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported to do their best work.
