Associates must operate company equipment in accordance with all safety standards, productivity expectations, and operational procedures established by Mystic. Forklift Drivers are expected to perform all assigned warehouse functions, use handheld RF scanning technology, and maintain a professional, team-oriented work environment.\nEquipment Operation and Safety\nForklift Drivers will operate the following sit-down forklift equipment:\nPropane Forklift: Toyota Model 50-8FGCU20\nElectric Forklift: Raymond Model 446-C40TT\nAll associates are required to follow safety protocols as outlined during orientation and mandatory forklift training. Associates must always operate equipment safely and according to all company procedures.\nAssociates are not authorized to perform maintenance or repairs on any equipment. Drivers are responsible for conducting required pre-shift equipment inspections and promptly notifying their supervisor of any equipment defects, malfunctions, or failed inspection items.\nAdditional safety procedures, equipment requirements, and operational expectations may be introduced periodically. Associates are expected to attend all required meetings and comply with any new policies, procedures, or training requirements.\nProductivity Expectations\nAll associates are expected to maintain productivity levels consistent with established building and shift performance standards. Productivity expectations may fluctuate based on seasonal demands and normal variations in product flow.\nAssociates whose performance falls below expected standards will be notified and may receive additional coaching or training.\nEssential Job Functions\nForklift Drivers are expected to perform all warehouse functions listed below. Each task requires the use of a handheld RF scanner, and training on scanner operation will be provided during the associate's first week of employment.\n1. Truck Unloading (approx. 10%)\nUnload palletized products from inbound trailers.\nFollow all unloading procedures as trained during orientation.\nSecure trailers before unloading begins.\nRetrieve and properly handle trays or materials that may have fallen from pallets.\nPerform work both inside the warehouse and outside at the trailer as required.\n2. Truck Loading (approx. 10%)\nLoad palletized products into outbound trailers.\nSecure trailers as required before loading operations.\nRetrieve and properly handle trays or materials that may have fallen from pallets.\nUse RF scanners to scan pallet labels as products are loaded into trailers.\nFollow all loading procedures as taught during orientation.\nPerform work both inside the warehouse and outside at the trailer as required.\n3. Put away Operations (approx. 10%)\nTransport pallets from staging areas to designated storage locations.\nUse the RF scanner to receive work assignments and location instructions.\nAccurately place pallets into assigned warehouse locations.\nFollow all putaway procedures as trained during orientation.\n4. Order Picking (approx. 60%)\nUse RF scanners and standard pick tickets to locate and select customer orders.\nScan pallet labels as required during the picking process.\nBuild customer orders accurately and maintain neat, organized pallet configurations.\nTransfer trays of mail or product from one pallet to another when required.\nHand-wrap completed pallet loads to ensure product stability and safe transportation.\nAdditional Duties (approx. 10%)\nAssociates may be required to perform other warehouse-related duties as business needs dictate. Examples include but are not limited to:\nGeneral warehouse housekeeping and cleanup.\nPicking up and restacking trays or products that have fallen from improperly stacked pallets.\nAssisting with inventory organization.\nSupporting operational projects and other job-related tasks as assigned by management.\nRequirements\nAttendance Expectations\nAssociates are expected to maintain regular and dependable attendance. Excessive absenteeism, call-offs, or tardiness may result in corrective action in accordance with company policy. Associates will be notified if attendance or punctuality concerns arise.\nWork Environment and Professional Conduct\nAll associates are expected to conduct themselves in a professional, respectful, and courteous manner while working with coworkers, supervisors, customers, and visitors.\nEach shift is supported by assigned supervisors and team leads.
