Broad knowledge of programming languages, software architecture, design, and database systems. While you don't need to be the deepest technical expert, a strong technical foundation is essential. You should be able to understand technical challenges, participate in technical discussions, and back your team's decisions\n- Customer-centric product thinker who works in conjunction with product partners to set the strategy for the team, supported by metrics and goals\n- BS degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent technical experience\n- 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years experience building and managing an engineering team of at least 4-6 engineers across different levels of seniority and technology stacks for a SaaS product at scale\n- Experience managing distributed teams, including teams offshore. Effective team builder who understands the value of building a diverse and inclusive engineering team\n- Excellent communication skills.
