As the customer builds its next-generation data platform, you will help maintain and improve reporting solutions that business teams rely on every day.\nYou will maintain, troubleshoot, and develop Power BI reports and semantic models, working with DAX calculations and data available through Snowflake. Finance will be your primary business domain, including reporting that supports month-end closing and other financial processes.\nThe role combines hands-on development, data investigation, and collaboration with business stakeholders. You will receive technical and domain support during onboarding and gradually take ownership of reporting requests and day-to-day Power BI tasks.\nResponsibilities:\nMaintain, troubleshoot, and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models, DAX measures, and calculated columns.\nInvestigate data discrepancies, refresh behaviour, and reporting inconsistencies using SQL and Snowflake.\nHelp Finance stakeholders understand report calculations, transformations, and the sources of reported values.\nSupport reporting for month-end closing and other Finance processes, while contributing to other business reporting needs as priorities evolve.\nClarify requirements, expected outcomes, and acceptance criteria with business stakeholders before implementation.\nTest and validate reports together with Finance stakeholders and the Data Quality Engineer.\nDocument reporting logic, changes, and relevant data dependencies.\nCollaborate with Data Engineering and platform owners to resolve issues originating outside Power BI.\nParticipate in the team’s Jira-based Scrum delivery process.\nRequirements:\n1+ year of practical Power BI experience, including report development, visualisations, filters, relationships, and semantic models.\nGood knowledge of DAX, including measures and calculated columns.\nGood knowledge of SQL, including joins, aggregations, and CTEs, with the ability to investigate underlying data independently.\nUnderstanding of relational and dimensional data concepts, including tables, keys, relationships, data types, and basic star-schema modelling.\nUnderstanding of Power BI connectivity modes-Import, DirectQuery, Live Connection, and Composite models-including their trade-offs and the specifics and limitations of Live Connection.\nAbility to investigate reporting discrepancies, refresh behaviour, and data dependencies.\nStrong attention to detail and a habit of validating results before sharing them with business users.\nAbility to communicate with business stakeholders, ask clarifying questions, and translate requirements into reporting changes.\nWillingness to learn Finance metrics, reporting needs, and business processes.\nUpper-Intermediate English or higher for collaboration with English-speaking stakeholders.\nNice to have:\nExperience with Snowflake.\nExposure to financial reporting or analytics.\nFamiliarity with Jira, Agile, or Scrum.\nWe offer*:\nFlexible working format -
