The client is using the mobile virtual network operator business model.\nThe role combines manual QA responsibilities such as requirements analysis, test design, API testing, defect management, and regression testing, with automation activities focused mainly on backend/API test automation using Java-based frameworks.\nResponsibilities :\nAnalyse business requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide meaningful feedback and identify potential gaps or risks early in the development process\nDesign, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases, test plans, and scripts to validate new features, ensure non-functional requirements are met, and conduct regression testing\nPerform end-to-end testing of backend functionality, focusing on web services (REST, SOAP) and ensuring seamless integration within a microservice architecture\nContribute to API/backend test automation using Java-based automation frameworks\nMaintain and extend existing automation tests, including regression and integration test scenarios\nIdentify, document and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication of issues\nManage and maintain test data, ensuring proper setup for efficient and accurate test execution\nValidate data using SQL queries and database checks.\nWork within a cross-functional team, closely collaborating with developers, automation testers, and production support engineers to improve overall software quality\nLead demo sessions for stakeholders, showcasing test results, findings, and key observations\nPerform troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving, actively identifying and addressing issues to streamline development\nCommunicate effectively in a multinational environment\nContribute to continuous QA process improvements, enhancing reporting, documentation, and best practices\nRequirements :\n3+ years of experience in software quality assurance\nPractical experience with test automation, preferably backend/API automation (TestNG, RestAssured, Playwright)\nStrong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing processes, tools, and best practices\nProven ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases\nUnderstanding of microservice architecture and integration testing\nHands-on experience with Web Services (REST and SOAP)\nAPI testing experience (Postman, Swagger, or similar tools)\nGood skills in requirement analysis, test design, defect reporting, and risk identification\nGood practical experience with SQL for database querying and test validation\nGood understanding of XML and JSON\nExperience in Agile/Scrum/Kanban development environments\nExperience with project management tools (JIRA, Confluence) and test case management (TestRail, XRay) tools\nKnowledge and experience with messaging systems and patterns (topics, queues), and tools (Azure Service Bus)\nUnderstanding and hands-on experience with CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins etc)\nStrong problem solving skills and attention to detail\nAbility to work independently and drive tasks to completion\nSolid verbal and written English communication skills (Upper-Intermediate)\nWould be a plus:\nExperience with Azure cloud environment and cloud-based testing\nDeeper experience with CI/CD pipelines and test execution integration\nExperience with performance, reliability, or non-functional testing\nExperience in backend-heavy or microservice-based platforms.\nUnderstanding of telecom industry principles\nWe offer*:\nFlexible working format -
