The team is working on modernizing reporting solutions and migrating existing reporting functionality from Oracle APEX to a Python/Django-based web application. The role combines backend and frontend development with database analysis, reporting, dashboard development, and performance optimization.\nResponsibilities:\nAnalyze existing Oracle APEX reports, dashboards, SQL queries, and business logic.\nDevelop and maintain backend functionality using Python and Django.\nDevelop web interfaces using Django Templates, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.\nBuild interactive dashboards, tables, charts, and calculated metrics.\nImplement data filtering, search, sorting, grouping, and pagination.\nDevelop report generation and export functionality in XLSX, CSV, and PDF formats.\nMigrate and implement user roles, authentication, authorization, and access control for reports and data.\nAnalyze and optimize SQL queries and overall application performance.\nConnect Django applications to Oracle Database and work with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.\nValidate migrated functionality and ensure data consistency between Oracle APEX and the Django application.\nDevelop and integrate REST APIs, preferably using Django REST Framework.\nDocument implemented functionality and support further development of the solution.\nRequirements:\nStrong Python skills and hands-on experience developing web applications with Django.\nCommercial experience with Django backend and frontend development.\nStrong knowledge of Django ORM and experience optimizing database queries.\nSolid SQL skills and practical experience with Oracle Database.\nGood understanding of PL/SQL.\nExperience analyzing Oracle APEX applications, reports, dashboards, SQL queries, and business logic.\nExperience integrating Django with Oracle Database, preferably using python-oracledb.\nExperience developing interactive dashboards, tables, charts, filters, and calculated metrics.\nStrong HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills.\nExperience implementing search, sorting, filtering, grouping, and pagination.\nExperience with data visualization libraries such as Chart.js, Apache ECharts, or similar.\nExperience generating and exporting reports in XLSX, CSV, and PDF formats.\nUnderstanding of authentication, authorization, role-based access control, and data access restrictions.\nExperience developing and integrating REST APIs.\nExperience optimizing web application performance and SQL queries for large datasets.\nExperience with Git.\nNice to have:\nExperience with Django REST Framework.\nExperience with PostgreSQL.\nExperience with Oracle APEX migration or modernization projects.\nExperience working with enterprise reporting or business intelligence applications.\nWe offer*:\nFlexible working format -
