You will work on distributed systems supporting critical financial operations, with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, security, and clean architecture.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.\nBuild and maintain REST APIs and event-driven services within a serverless AWS architecture.\nWork with AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, API Gateway, EventBridge, DynamoDB, and S3.\nContribute to the design and evolution of distributed systems supporting core banking processes.\nTake part in architectural and technical decisions, solution design, and technical documentation.\nCollaborate with other engineering teams and external partners to define and manage system integrations and dependencies.\nDevelop reliable and well-tested solutions, covering unit, integration, and system testing.\nWork with Infrastructure as Code and contribute to improving CI/CD pipelines and development processes.\nParticipate in threat modeling and contribute to building secure and resilient services.\nTake ownership of production reliability, including participation in an on-call rotation, incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and hotfixes.\nProactively identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and engineering practices.\nRequirements:\n5+ years of commercial Node,js backend development experience.\nStrong hands-on experience with TypeScript.\nSolid experience building distributed and event-driven systems.\nStrong practical experience with AWS, particularly serverless services such as Lambda, SQS, API Gateway, EventBridge, DynamoDB, and S3.\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform and/or AWS CDK.\nGood understanding and practical application of software design patterns and clean architecture principles.\nExperience with RESTful API design and OpenAPI.\nStrong testing experience, including unit and integration testing.\nExperience working with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nAbility to take ownership of technical solutions and work independently.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\nFluent English.\nNice to Have:\nExperience with monorepo setups, such as pnpm workspaces or similar.\nExperience with MySQL and ORM technologies such as Prisma.\nExperience with DynamoDB or other NoSQL databases.\nPrevious experience in banking, fintech, payments, or other highly regulated domains.\nWe offer*:\nFlexible working format -
