Our target in AFC is to lead and shape the industry by creating a culture of compliance within N26 that authorities, customers and stakeholders can trust. This role is crucial to achieve this goal.\nIn this role, you will:\nSupport all Anti-Financial Crime tasks including AML, terrorism financing, sanctions, KYC, and fraud. You’ll detect Money Laundering typologies and Financial Crime patterns, while handling external and internal requests to detect potential financial crime. \nYour responsibilities will include: \nLeading and managing a team of analysts and investigators.\nEnsuring timely and accurate investigation of suspicious activities and reporting.\nOverseeing daily operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.\nMonitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of AFC controls.\nCoordinating with other departments to implement and enforce/improve AFC policies.\nDeveloping and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.\nSupport responding to audits and regulatory inquiries as needed\nFostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.\nPromoting teamwork and collaboration to achieve shared objectives.\nWhat you need to be successful:\nBackground: \nSeveral years with relevant banking experience in Anti Financial Crime\nStrong leadership and team management skills\nExperience on French AML/CTF regulation\nBachelor’s degree (ideally in law, business or finance) preferred, but not essential\nKnowledge use of Google Workspace\nIn-depth understanding of Anti-Financial Crime regulations and compliance standards\nYou are fluent in English and French spoken and written\nDeliver with quality and keep confidentiality\nMaintain an analytical mindset, willingness of thinking out of the box and appetite for learning\nSkills: \nYou are detail oriented, diligent and reliable.\nYou have a hands-on mentality and take on ownership.\nYou should enjoy a fast paced working environment, show high willingness to learn and work autonomously to grasp new topics.\nYou should have ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members\nStrategic thinking with a focus on process improvement\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines\nTraits:\nActively help yourself (and others) be successful.\nContinuously learn and challenge the status quo.\nThink globally, act locally.\nStrong bias for action.\nGive and receive open, direct and timely feedback.\nRespect and follow internal escalation rules\n What’s in it for you:\nAccelerate your career growth by joining one of Europe’s most talked about disruptors .\nEmployee benefits that range from a competitive personal development budget, work from home budget, discounts to fitness & wellness memberships, language apps and public transportation. \nAs an N26 employee you will have access to a Premium subscription on your personal N26 bank account.
