We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Treasury Managerto join our finance team. Reporting directly to the Head of Treasury, the Senior Treasury Manager is a key leadership role responsible for executing the Bank’s daily liquidity, capital management, and investment strategies. This role encompasses hands-on management and safeguarding of the investment portfolio, optimization of financial performance and risk mitigation across the organization. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with deep expertise in treasury operations, liquidity management, and relevant banking regulations.\nResponsibilities:\nLiquidity and Treasury Management:\nCash Flow and Forecasting: Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and long-term cash flow forecasts to ensure operational liquidity for customer deposits. \nInvestment Portfolio: Formulate laddering strategies to ensure availability of funds while optimizing interest rate capture\nQuantitative Modelling: Utilize and deploy quantitative models and methods to predict deposit trends and manage potential liquidity stress scenarios \nPayment Infrastructure: Manage the Bank’s access to and use of critical payment systems, including high-volume domestic wire and SWIFT rails\n\nRisk Management and Compliance:\nFinancial Risk: Identify, measure and manage financial risks, including liquidity risk and interest rate risk. \nInvestment Policy: Execute short-term investment strategies for surplus cash, maintaining a highly liquid, low-risk portfolio strictly aligned with regulatory guidelines. \nReporting: Prepare detailed daily, monthly and quarterly reports on cash positions, liquidity management, investment performance, and risk exposure for the CFO and the Risk and Audit Committee. \nRegulatory Controls: Work closely with the compliance team to ensure all treasury operations adhere to all regulatory standards. \n\nBanking Relations:\nRelationship Management: Assist in managing relationships with banking partners, correspondent banks and custodians. \nEvaluation: Prepare due diligence reports on current and potential banking partners, evaluate operational structures and identify risks and opportunities \n\nLeadership and Operations:\nPolicy and Controls: Develop, implement, and enforce robust treasury policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure audit readiness and operational excellence. \nIdentify opportunities to automate and improve cash and bank reconciliation processes\nTechnology: Evaluate, select, and integrate financial technologies to automate processes, improve real-time visibility, and enhance control and scalability. \n\nQualifications:\nEducation: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\nExperience: Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, banking or financial risk management, preferably within a fintech environment.\nRegulated Environment: Experience working within a regulated financial institution (e.g., bank, trust company, broker-dealer). \nExceptional financial modeling and forecasting skills with the ability to convey complex treasury management strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. \nExcellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.\nExcellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. \nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly changing environment.\nStrong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCFA and/or Certified Treasury Professional is preferred.\nExperience with regulatory reporting for financial institutions.\nFamiliarity with data analytics tools and programming, including Python and/or R\nAcademic and/or professional background in statistical and/or quantitative modelling\nAbility to navigate databases, build data pipelines and liaise with engineering teams\nExperience in a startup or high-growth environment.\nWhy Join
