You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to define data scope, metrics, and success criteria, while ensuring data quality, consistency, and traceability across systems. By leveraging data analysis, reporting tools, and AI-assisted capabilities, you will generate actionable insights that support Product Owners in prioritisation, shaping product direction, and delivering measurable business value\nYOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES\n1. User Story Definition:\nWorks with the Product Owner and multiple stakeholders to understand, elicit, analyse, document and communicate business requirements and articulate product vision with a strong focus on value delivery\nAssists the Product Owner to define and own the value definition of Lean canvas, Epic definition, Feature definition, User Story definition, including facilitating and influencing the prioritisation of the backlog\nExpert in translating end user / customer insights into Stories complete with Acceptance Criteria, which can easily be understood by the Development Team\nProvides discipline, rigor and technical skills to the requirements definition and validation process\n2. Planning & Engagement:\nPartners with key stakeholders and Product Owners to articulate product vision; documents problem/opportunity and broader context; defines desired future states using outcomes as measures of success with a strong focus on value delivery\nCollaborates with key stakeholders across business and technology to complete the required artefacts and capture necessary inputs\nWorks with the team to produce high fidelity estimates by providing crystal clear requirements definitions\nTypically works ahead of the Team to elicit requirements for the next Business Outcome, Epic and Features.\nShared accountability with other Team Members to help refine the Backlog and estimate the Initiatives, Features and Stories at the planning meetings\nProactive around risks, issues, blockers and raises them as soon as possible\nConstantly looks for opportunities to improve the overall process\n3. Data Skills\nTranslate business problems into clear data, reporting, and analytical requirements\nWork closely with stakeholders to define data scope, logic, definitions, and success metrics\nPerform data extraction, cleansing, validation, and transformation across multiple sources\nEnsure data quality, consistency, and traceability for reporting purposes in complex environments\nIdentify data gaps, inconsistencies, and remediation opportunities\nDesign, build, and maintain dashboards and reports (e.g. Power BI, Excel, Power Query)\nTranslate data outputs into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders and leadership\nLeverage AI tools (e.g. prompt-based tools) to accelerate data analysis, report generation, and documentation\nApply critical thinking to validate AI outputs and ensure accuracy and relevance\n4. Other Essential Accountabilities\nDecomposition of work - Drafting Business Outcomes, Epics and Features and User Stories to articulate value; lead activities which establishes a product backlog\nEpic sequence optionality, including articulating, senior stakeholder communication, and recommendations for tradeoffs involved in technical decisions\nData collation, deep analysis and data interpretation/communication for informed decision making across complex environments\nOwnership of as is/to be process maps, interaction models, customer journey maps and environments aligned to enterprise process architecture, applied within complex environments\nLogically structuring problems, taking into consideration the business context and deep analysis to articulate the Epics in Progressive Elaboration documentation\nYOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE\nMust have\nHaving 5+ years’ work experience as a Business Analyst (in any industry) \nStrong project experience across multiple business units and complex environments and methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall) \nAdvanced skills in using suitable tools for business modelling, drawing business and technical flows/diagrams, creating mock-ups /wireframes/prototypes, etc. \nGood skill in Elicitation and Requirement analysis & documentation with a high-level focus on details\nHands-on experience in influencing and collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Product Owners, Solution Designers and Architects\nStrong discovery mindset - proactively identifying patterns, gaps, and opportunities within data\nHands-on experience in data cleansing, transformation, and reporting workflows\nStrong ability to generate insights from data and communicate business impact\nExperience in working with PowerBI, PowerQuery on Excel or other data visualisation tools\nWorking knowledge of technical concepts (e.g. user interfaces, API, databases, system integration) and dealing with technical stakeholders \nExcellent English communication skills (both verbal & written) and strong Presentation capabilities \nStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skills, with detail-oriented mindset\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted analysis and productivity tools\nNice-to-have\nExperience or knowledge of BABOK® Knowledge Areas\nBachelor’s Degree, preferably in IT, Business, Computer Science, or related area \nExperience in the Banking or Financial Services industry \nExperience in the UI/UX or understanding of user-centric mindset\nAny additional certification or training in BA, PO, UX or related area (e.g. PSPO, CSPO, CBAP) \nTHE BENEFITS AND PERKS\n1.
