Accountable for engineering excellence across mobile, API, cloud and platform capabilities while balancing delivery, quality, performance, security and reliability outcomes.\nYOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nManage multi-Agile teams to deliver engineering standards, sprint backlogs, and plans, engineers’ responsibilities and performance management, code quality, adherence to development, and testing guardrails. \nEducate the engineering teams and ensure the release of features to production to comply with NAB risk management frameworks. \nEvangelist of the T-shaped working model; coach engineers to be T-shaped, versatile, and take responsibility outside their core disciplines; \nLine management (1:1 meetings, personal development & training plan, career path, probation reviews, and performance reviews); \nLead engineering teams delivering native and hybrid mobile applications, digital experiences, APIs and backend platform services supporting colleague journeys. \nDrive engineering practices across mobile architecture, API design, cloud-native development, observability, resilience, security and performance optimisation. \nEnsure mobile solutions align with enterprise architecture, digital channel strategies and technology standards. \nPartner with Product Owners, Designers and Architects to translate customer needs into scalable technical solutions. \nOversee technical design decisions, architecture reviews and engineering trade-offs across mobile, backend and integration components. \nDrive engineering quality through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, release governance, and secure software development practices. \nEnsure applications meet accessibility, security, performance, and operational support requirements. \nDrive a learning-based culture with an ability to set and gain agreement for realistic and stretching objectives for the team. \nDrive delivery of customer-focused outcomes that improve product value, user experience, and business objectives.\nFulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time. \nYOUR SKILL AND EXPERIENCE\nMust have:\n10+ years working experience in Software Development; 5+ years' experience in leading cross-functional Agile teams \nStrong understanding of mobile application development across iOS, Android, and modern digital platforms. \nExperience with mobile architecture patterns, API integration, authentication, application security, and performance optimization. \nExperience leading engineers across frontend, mobile, backend and platform disciplines. \nExperience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production operations. \nAbility to guide technical strategy while remaining hands-on enough to challenge architecture and engineering decisions. \nExcellent experience in SDLC methodologies - Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall \nProven ability to manage and deliver complex technology projects involving multiple engineering teams both onshore and offshore \nReal-world experience with large-scale Agile adoption, not just theoretical knowledge. \nStrong stakeholder management experience; \nProven people leadership, team building, motivation, and coaching skills \nExperience in managing code and change management processes \nExperience with IT Service Management (e.g. Release Management) and experience with using Service Now or similar. \nStrong ability to communicate at both strategic and operational level internally and externally, making effective decisions balancing business and stakeholder needs \nFluent English skills \nNice to have:\nAgile - Certified Scrum Master (preferred) \nExperience in the Banking or Financial Services industry; (preferred) \nTHE BENEFITS AND PERKS\nWe appreciate and reward our colleagues who do great work every day - from excelling for our customers, to taking ownership of an issue to get it resolved.
