You will be part of our delivery team and willbe responsible forproviding technical leadership throughout all phases of the software delivery life cycle as weinitiatea transformation of NAB technology.\nAt NAB, we believe success comes from our people.We'recommitted to supporting your talent and skills through your career, as you help us build a culture that affects change for our customers and for the community too.\nYOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nDesign, develop, review, implement, and manage Java applications and services for the production and pre-releaseenvironments;\n\nDesign, develop, review, implement, and manage continuous integration, build management and deployment scripts, systems, and any code asrequired;\n\nParticipate in Agile software development, prototyping, and code review with international development teams to build scalable microservices-based products and APIs using Java technologies on AWS Cloudarchitecture;\n\nFully understand the requirements of the customer or business andutilizethis knowledge to develop applications that are consistent withthis;\n\nWork with delivery teams to achieve success through development using CI/CD and DevOps practices, processes, andtooling;\n\nProvide robust coding practices, solid unit/component test coverage, and debugging code.\n\nYOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE\nMust have\nExperience as a Java designer/developer in a complex, enterprise-level developmentenvironment;\n\nSolid experience in JAVA 8+;\n\nSolid experience in Java open-source frameworks, including developing using modern frameworks, e.g. SpringBoot;\n\nExperience in designing & developing RESTful APIs and microservices-basedsystem;\n\nExperience in Cloud computing andAmazon Web Services - particularly ServerlessDevelopment;\n\nPractical experience in Containers (ECS, Kubernetes, Docker) and FaaS (AWS Lambda)technologies;\n\nStrong English communication skills (both verbal & written), especially in the global software developmentenvironment;\n\nStrong DevOps and Continuous Deliveryskillset;\n\nExperience in modern CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g. Git, Ansible, Jenkins, NPM, Gradle);\n\nExperience in Agile developmentenvironments;\n\nWell-versed in writing structured, well-documented, maintainable, and cleancode;\n\nGood problem-solving and analyticalskills;\n\nGood understanding of standard Software Engineering processes,Testing;\n\nNice-to-have\nExperience in the Banking or Financial Servicesindustry;\n\nFamiliar with JavaScript frameworks, specifically React.js orNode.js;\n\nAnyadditionalcertification or training in IT, Business, Computer Science, or relatedarea;\n\nExperience in leading and coaching at least one software engineer team on variousprojects;\n\nTHE BENEFITS AND PERKS\n1.
