Manage maintenance expenses within budget. Works with corporate Maintenance Managers to manage equipment recertifications.\nManage the district workshop and all repair activities for Nabors drilling equipment\nManages the work activities of department personnel to achieve maximum quality and productivity of the department\nMaintains staff by recruiting, selecting, and training employees\nMaintains job results through coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees\nResolves personnel issues to include hiring, counseling, discipline, pay, benefits, and termination\nDevelops and controls departmental Opex and Capex budget along with developing Capex justification with minimal assistance\nInterfaces with vendors, sales, project management and engineering personnel to resolve equipment problems and improve quality of products\nMaintains a safe, secure, and productive working environment for department personnel\nManages preventative maintenance of all equipment within the department and insures effective use of company resources such as utilities, tools, consumables, and other supplies\nManages & is responsible for the care of all assets withing the maintenance department including service vehicles, technician tools, spare parts, and consumables. \nManages and develops plans for the efficient use of equipment, materials and personnel. Ensures policies and procedures are implemented in accordance with established guidelines and compliance standards are met\nAssumes overall responsibility for District P&L/budget, safety, and personnel.\nReviews maintenance spend and develops ways to reduce or manage internal and external spend.\nSelects, trains, coaches and develops district employees. Creates and upholds a work environment that encourages employee morale. \nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS\nMinimum 10 years’ experience with oil and gas related equipment or \nAlternately 5 years’ experience in oil & gas and a degree in mechanical/civil or electrical engineering\nMinimum 3 years’ Management experience \nMinimum 2 years as a technician on a drilling rig\nExcellent interpersonal skills.\nProficient with Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)\nGeneral knowledge of oil field technology, as it applies to the oil and gas industry\nProven experience with customer service\nDemonstrated HS&E leadership.\nPossess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's license\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nExperience with Nabors rigs, equipment, and Nabors maintenance system.\nExperienced in troubleshooting methods to ensure that uptime and quality targets are met.\nBEHAVIORAL COMPENTENCIES\nAbility to set clear and deliverable goals with demonstrated tenacity, commitment to delivery and accountability for results.\nDependable, flexible, organized, motivated, assertive, and able to work on a deadline basis.\nAble to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances.\nMust have a winning attitude\nMust be self-sufficient\nTECHNICAL COMPENTENCIES\nKnowledge of Land and Offshore Drilling Rigs and systems.\nWork Authorization Requirement: Candidates must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
