Our reputation is built on engineering excellence, strategic collaboration, and a strong commitment to solving complex challenges for clients around the world.\nABOUT THE ROLE:\nAs a Transportation Operations Project Engineer at NAC International you will support the planning and execution of transportation projects from preparation through field operations. You will work closely with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors to coordinate project activities, prepare technical and project documentation, support transportation equipment and shipping cask operations, and help ensure projects are completed safely and successfully.\nWHAT YOU’LL OWN:\nYou’ll support transportation projects from planning through execution, helping coordinate the technical, operational, and field activities needed to keep projects moving safely and successfully.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO:\nPrepare necessary support documentation for assigned projects, including design and procurement specifications, purchase orders, operating and maintenance manuals, and fabrication and test procedures.\nInterface with other internal work groups to support cask and site operations equipment design and engineering analyses.\nMaintain NAC/Transportation shipping casks and support equipment.\nCoordinate packaging and shipment of all NAC/Transportation project specific equipment.\nResponsible for cask and other site operations associated with assigned projects.\nAssist in the preparation of proposals needed for on-going and new business activities.\nAssist in developing project management documentation and briefing materials, including overall progress and status reports, for the customer and Company management.\nWHAT YOU’LL BRING:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical science field, or equivalent work experience.\nMinimum of three (3) years of experience in the nuclear industry is preferred.\nStrong customer service focus and ability to work well with a team working towards targeted deadlines.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills along with excellent interpersonal skills.\nRequires short and long-term domestic and international travel up to 50% of the time.\nWHY NAC?\nAt NAC, we offer more than just a job - we offer a mission-driven career.
