Let’s shape the future of maritime technology together.\nRole Overview\nWe are seeking a motivated Service Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Service team, supporting the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of advanced Navigation, Automation, and Communication (ANC) systems.\nIn this hands-on role, you will work closely with experienced engineers to deliver high-quality field service activities for customers across the UK and internationally. You will play an important role in ensuring successful project execution while building strong customer relationships and maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and technical excellence.\nKey Responsibilities\nInstall, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and commission Navigation, Automation, and Communication (ANC) systems on customer vessels\nSupport and supervise field service teams, subcontractors, and shipyard personnel during service and commissioning activities\nConduct site surveys and prepare detailed work specifications for service projects\nEnsure the correct tools, materials, and equipment are available to complete assigned work efficiently\nAct as a key technical contact for customers, responding to enquiries and resolving technical issues\nDeliver high-quality service work through effective troubleshooting, diagnostics, and technical problem-solving\nPrepare accurate service reports and maintain project documentation\nMentor and support colleagues by sharing technical knowledge and best practices when required\nEnsure all work complies with company Quality Assurance procedures, Health & Safety regulations, and ISO standards\nMaintain a flexible and proactive approach, supporting additional service activities as business needs require\nKey Requirements\nHND/HNC in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience\nExperience with marine, electrical, automation, navigation, or communication systems is advantageous\nStrong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\nExcellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills\nGood organizational skills with the ability to produce accurate documentation and service reports\nAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team\nWillingness to travel extensively throughout the UK and occasionally internationally\nProactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality service\nFluent in English, both written and spoken\nWhy choose us and why we'd choose you?\nAt NACOS Marine, you will become part of an international team delivering advanced maritime technology to customers around the world.
