This internship offers students the opportunity to:\nWork within an international deep-tech company group\nGain hands-on experience at a fast-growing AI and agri-technology startup\nCollaborate with professionals from engineering, data science, business, and innovation backgrounds.\nDevelop practical operations skills within a real startup environment\nWe believe this position would be particularly suitable for HBO students with an interest in technology, operations, data, agriculture, innovation, or business, who are eager to gain real-world experience in a high-impact company.\nRequirements\nWe are looking for a motivated and hands-on intern with the following profile:\nExcellent command of the English language (spoken and written)\nStrong computer skills and confidence working with digital tools and software\nPositive, proactive, and responsible attitude, with a willingness to learn\nInterest in agriculture, agri-technology, or food systems\nValid driver’s license and preferably access to a personal vehicle\nAbility to work independently as well as part of a small, dynamic team\nResponsibilities:\nAs an Operations Intern at Seed-X, you will support the daily operational activities related to our AI-driven seed analysis technology. Your responsibilities will include:\nOperating and monitoring AI-driven seed sorting machines to process and analyse seed and grain batches.\nConducting phenotyping assessments using our internally developed mobile software.\nProcessing and structuring phenotypical data to support further AI training and algorithm development.\nInspecting, monitoring, and controlling ongoing production processes to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency.\nSupporting the operations team with hands-on, practical tasks in a real startup production environment.\nProcessing and administrative handling of new customer orders, including data entry, documentation, and internal coordination.\nThis role offers a unique combination of technology, agriculture, and applied operations, providing direct exposure to innovative AI solutions in the agri-tech sector.\nDeliverables:\nDuring the internship, the intern is expected to deliver the following outcomes:\nCorrectly operated and monitored seed analysis and sorting processes, ensuring accurate processing of assigned seed batches.\nQuality control reports or logs documenting inspections and observations of ongoing production processes.\nWell-structured and validated phenotypical datasets prepared for use in AI model training and algorithm development.\nCorrect processing and administrative handling of new customer orders, including data entry, documentation, and internal coordination.\nPreparation of analyzed seed batches for shipment, including labeling, packaging, and readiness for dispatch.\nDemonstrated understanding of end-to-end operational workflows, from order intake and production to
