Description Summary:\nThe Project Manager is responsible for leading renewable energy projects from late-stage development through FID, RtB, construction and COD, ensuring delivery in line with approved business case, schedule, budget, quality and HSE requirements.Job Description:\nKey responsibilities include:\nLead and manage a portfolio of renewable energy projects across different technologies, from late-stage development through construction and COD.\nDrive projects through Final Investment Decision (FID), Ready to Build (RtB) and Commercial Operation Date (COD) in line with approved targets, budget and schedule.\nTake ownership and accountability for project objectives, proactively maximizing project value and protecting the approved business case.\nEnsure projects are properly engineered, procured, constructed, commissioned and connected on time and within budget.\nLead and coordinate the preparation of the FID package, ensuring alignment across technical, commercial, financial and contractual workstreams.\nDevelop and manage the integrated project schedule, including key milestones, critical path and dependencies, proactively identifying and mitigating risks and removing execution constraints.\nManage project budgets, forecasts and key financial KPIs, maintaining appropriate project governance and cost control.\nLead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and interfaces between internal functions, contractors, advisers and external stakeholders.\nSupport Procurement in defining contracting and procurement strategies and oversee their implementation through construction.\nCoordinate the negotiation and management of construction, quality and project-related contracts, including variations and claims, in coordination with Procurement and relevant internal functions.\nCoordinate the project financing strategy with the Finance team and the offtake strategy with the Energy Markets team.\nEnsure high standards of HSE and quality throughout engineering, construction and commissioning, working closely with the relevant specialist functions.\nOversee construction, commissioning and project close-out, ensuring appropriate management of contractors, interfaces, contractual obligations and project risks.\nCoordinate project handover to Operations, including achievement of PAC (Provisional Acceptance Certificate) and completion of the required handover documentation.\nRequired Skills & Experience\nMinimum 5 years' experience in project management roles within the energy, infrastructure or construction sectors.\nBachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent qualification, in a relevant discipline such as engineering, renewable energy, planning, environmental or sustainability studies.\nExperience in renewable energy development and/or construction, with a demonstrable track record of delivering project objectives.\nGood understanding of the key financial drivers and KPIs of renewable energy projects and their impact on project value.\nStrong project planning, budgeting, risk management and stakeholder-management capabilities.\nHigh proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other relevant project-management applications.\nWillingness to travel extensively across Europe.i\nPragmatic, proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem solving.\nStrong communication and influencing skills across internal and external stakeholders, including both technical and non-technical audiences.\nStrong leadership skills combined with an empathetic and collaborative do\nBuild robust project finance models from scratch for wind, solar and storage projects\nDevelop debt sizing, debt sculpting, financing waterfalls, covenant modelling, refinancing scenarios and sensitivity analyses\nPerform DCF and NAV valuations for individual assets and renewable energy portfolios\nContribute to the development and maintenance of the Group's strategic valuation model, supporting business planning, portfolio valuation and long-term strategic analysis\nPrepare investment analyses and business cases for Senior Management and the Investment Committee\nSupport M&A transactions through financial analysis, scenario modelling and valuation workstreams\nChallenge commercial, technical and financing assumptions to assess project value and risk\nContinuously improve modelling standards, transparency and analytical quality across the team\nWhat we're looking for\n3-4 years of experience in project finance modelling and valuation\nExperience in renewable energy or infrastructure gained within an IPP, advisory firm, M&A team or transaction services\nOutstanding Excel and financial modelling skills\nAbility to build complex project finance models independently from a blank workbook (this is the key requirement)\nStrong understanding of corporate finance and valuation methodologies\nExcellent analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail\nDegree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or another quantitative discipline\nProfessional proficiency in English\nNice to have\nExperience supporting M&A transactions, financial due diligence and an understanding of transaction documentation\nFamiliarity with electricity markets and renewable energy revenue mechanisms (PPAs, CfDs, merchant exposure, etc.)\nExperience managing analytical
