The role involves managing contractors to execute planned and corrective maintenance within specified time, quality, and cost parameters across your designated region. As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of wind farms and solar plants, , ensuring that internal procedures are followed and that suppliers are in line with the best practices within the sector, promoting health and safety at work.Job Description:\nHSQE (Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental):\nEnsure the safety of all personnel on site, adhering to regulations and legislation.\nUphold effective HSQE standards across the wind farm portfolio under your management.\nConduct regular audits and inspections of contractors for compliance.\nDocument safety incidents promptly, investigate as needed, and provide recommendations.\nLead emergency planning with regular exercises to verify its effectiveness.\nContractor Management:\nMaintain high standards in contractor performance and stakeholder engagement.\nImplement work plans for all sites, emphasizing the efficient generation of each wind turbine.\nFoster good relationships with key stakeholders through regular communication.\nConduct contractor audits to ensure governance against contract deliverables.\nCollaborate in procurement process in line with company .\nOversee project management to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with minimal impact on site performance.\nTechnical:\nOperate the plant with a focus on safety and quality, maximizing the assets generation.\nIdentify and mitigate risks that could impact performance targets.\nCarry out regular checks and inspections on contractors to ensure safe and high-quality activities.\nObtain authorisation under HV safety rules and coordinate component exchanges.\nInvestigate major outages to prevent re-occurrence and ensure lessons learned.\nActive participation with fault finding and rectification were possible.\nCollaboration in value-added projects to monitor asset efficiency, ensuring the correct installation and operation of equipment.\nCommercial:\nDeliver works on site within defined budgets while maximizing profitability.\nProvide inputs to annual budgets for operating and capital expenditures.\nManage wind farms in line with budgetary expectations, identifying and communicating variances.\nFocus on performance improvements to enhance wind farm profitability without compromising safety or quality.\nReporting:\nProduce monthly operational reports detailing Asset Management activities and site performance.\nCollaborate with Operational Analysts to address turbine performance issues.\nProvide inputs written business cases to support initiatives.\nOn-Call Responsibilities:\nParticipate in a rotational on-call rota system within the area.\nBe available for site attendance outside of regular working hours.\nTechnical and cross Competences\nPreferred:\nExperience managing onshore wind farms 2-5 years experience\nKnowledge of information documentation, monitoring, and reporting industry best practices.\nExperience of PV plants is beneficial\nSkills & Knowledge:\nClear and concise written and verbal communication at all levels.\nWind turbine analysis of faults and participation with corrective action planning\nStrong scheduling and planning skills for timely task completion.\nPrevious experience in the operation and maintenance of HV/LV electrical plant.\nProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.\nKnowledge on Gamesa wind turbines is a plus.\nEducation & experience\nEducational background in a field of Mechanical, Electrical or Civil construction\nMin 2-5 years experience working within the Renewables Industry \nProject Management skills and experience \nSkills and abilities\nStrong experience in managing contractors and HSQE topics\nAble to be on site around 80% of the time\nResidence near the wind farms (Palencia /Valladolid).\nPay and benefits\nAt Nadara, we’re committed to creating an environment where our people feel valued, supported and empowered to grow.\nOur rewards package reflects that commitment, including flexible ways of working, continuous learning and development opportunities, and initiatives focused on physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.\nWe recognise effort and dedication, and we make sure it’s matched with fair pay and meaningful benefits - join us and be part of an international renewable energy company that invests in both your personal and professional growth.\nSalary range: 30-40k + variable bonus and benefits\nThe compensation range indicated in the job posting represents an estimated average range for the position.
