The role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, strategic planning and team leadership.\nKey Responsibilities\nNetwork Infrastructure Management\nLead the design, implementation and management of enterprise network infrastructure across offices, factories, data centres and remote locations.\n\nManage LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, routing, switching, firewalls and internet connectivity.\n\nEnsure network availability, performance, redundancy and security across all business locations.\n\nMonitor network performance and resolve recurring availability, latency and capacity issues.\n\nImplement network segmentation, secure remote access and appropriate firewall policies.\n\nManage network transformation, consolidation and optimisation projects.\n\nMaintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, inventories and technical documentation.\n\nCloud Infrastructure Management\nDevelop and implement the organisation’s cloud and hybrid infrastructure strategy.\n\nManage cloud environments across Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP or other approved platforms.\n\nLead the migration of suitable on-premises systems and services to cloud platforms.\n\nManage cloud networking, virtual machines, storage, backup, disaster recovery and identity services.\n\nEnsure cloud environments are secure, scalable, cost-effective and compliant with organisational policies.\n\nMonitor cloud consumption, licensing and costs and recommend optimisation opportunities.\n\nEstablish cloud governance standards covering access, security, configuration, monitoring and resource management.\n\nManage Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID and related collaboration platforms.\n\nCybersecurity Management\nDevelop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, procedures and technical controls.\n\nManage Security Operations Centre and Managed Security Service Provider activities.\n\nOversee Security Information and Event Management, endpoint protection and threat-monitoring solutions.\n\nLead vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and remediation programmes.\n\nManage cybersecurity incidents, investigations, containment, recovery and post-incident reviews.\n\nImplement and monitor firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, email security, web application firewalls and endpoint security.\n\nOversee data-loss prevention, information classification, encryption and cloud-security controls.\n\nConduct cybersecurity risk assessments and maintain risk and remediation registers.\n\nCoordinate security-awareness programmes, phishing simulations and employee training.\n\nIdentity and Access Management\nEstablish and maintain identity and access-management processes.\n\nManage Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Single Sign-On and Multi-Factor Authentication.\n\nEnsure appropriate role-based access controls and privileged-access management.\n\nConduct periodic user-access reviews and ensure timely access removal during employee offboarding.\n\nStrengthen access controls for business applications, infrastructure, cloud services and third-party users.\n\nGovernance Risk and Compliance\nDevelop and maintain IT security policies, standards and operating procedures.\n\nEnsure alignment with applicable cybersecurity, data-protection and privacy requirements.\n\nSupport certification and compliance programmes such as ISO 27001, ISO 20000, NIST or other relevant frameworks.\n\nCoordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of identified findings.\n\nEvaluate technology and security risks associated with vendors, systems and new projects.\n\nProvide regular risk, compliance and cybersecurity reports to senior management.\n\nBusiness Continuity and Disaster Recovery\nDevelop and maintain IT disaster-recovery and business-continuity plans.\n\nEnsure critical systems, network services and business data are adequately backed up and recoverable.\n\nConduct periodic disaster-recovery testing and document the results and improvement actions.\n\nDefine recovery time and recovery point objectives in coordination with business stakeholders.\n\nEnsure infrastructure resilience, high availability and appropriate system redundancy.\n\nIT Operations and Service Management\nEnsure network, cloud and security services meet agreed service levels and business requirements.\n\nManage incidents, problems, changes, service requests, configuration items and IT assets in accordance with ITIL practices.\n\nEstablish monitoring and reporting for the health, capacity and availability of infrastructure and security systems.\n\nIdentify recurring operational issues and implement permanent corrective actions.\n\nSupport critical incidents and participate in after-hours escalation when required.\n\nProjects and Digital Transformation\nLead network, cloud, data-centre and cybersecurity transformation projects.\n\nPrepare project scopes, technical specifications, statements of work, bills of quantities and implementation plans.\n\nEvaluate proposed technologies and recommend appropriate technical solutions.\n\nCoordinate system testing, migration, deployment, documentation and operational handover.\n\nEnsure projects are completed within the approved scope, budget and timeline.\n\nVendor and Budget Management\nManage relationships with cloud providers, telecom operators, cybersecurity partners and managed-service providers.\n\nDevelop RFPs, review proposals and conduct technical and commercial evaluations.\n\nMonitor vendor performance against contracts, service-level agreements and project deliverables.\n\nPrepare and manage operational and capital budgets for network, cloud and cybersecurity requirements.\n\nIdentify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining security, service quality and operational resilience.\n\nTeam Leadership\nLead, coach and develop network, cloud, infrastructure and cybersecurity team members.\n\nDefine team objectives, responsibilities, performance measures and development plans.\n\nCoordinate internal teams and external service providers during incidents and projects.\n\nPromote a culture of security, accountability, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering or a related discipline.\n\nA master’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity or Business Administration would be an advantage.\n\nRelevant professional certifications are strongly preferred, such as:\nCCNP, CCIE or equivalent networking certification\n\nMicrosoft Azure Administrator, Solutions Architect or Security certification\n\nAWS Solutions Architect or Security certification\n\nCISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH or equivalent cybersecurity certification\n\nISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor\n\nITIL certification\n\nTOGAF certification\n\nExperience Requirements\nMinimum 10-15 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, enterprise networking, cloud technologies or cybersecurity.\n\nAt least 5 years of experience in a managerial or technical leadership position.\n\nStrong experience managing enterprise networks across multiple locations.\n\nDemonstrated experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments, preferably Azure and AWS.\n\nExperience managing SOC, MSSP, SIEM, VAPT and cybersecurity incident-response activities.\n\nExperience with identity and access management, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.\n\nProven experience delivering infrastructure, cloud, network or cybersecurity transformation projects.\n\nExperience managing vendors, managed services, technology budgets and service-level agreements.\n\nUAE or GCC experience within a large multi-site organisation would be preferred.\n\nTechnical Competencies\nEnterprise routing, switching,
