gracefully through robust retry strategies, idempotent processing, event-driven architectures, and strong observability.\nWorking closely with engineering leadership to define backend architecture, engineering standards, and long-term technical direction.\nIntegrating with third-party financial institutions, banking partners, identity verification providers, and other external platforms.\nBuilding internal operational tools that improve visibility, troubleshooting, reconciliation, and support workflows.\nContributing to infrastructure supporting AI-powered financial research and data processing initiatives.\nParticipating in production operations, monitoring, incident response, and continuous platform improvements.\nWhat you will need:\nAround 6+ years of experience building production backend systems.\nStrong experience designing scalable distributed systems running in production.\nHands-on experience with backend technologies such as Go, Java, Kotlin, Python, C#, Rust, or similar modern languages.\nStrong understanding of databases, event-driven architectures, messaging systems, caching, and scalable infrastructure.\nExperience designing systems where correctness, consistency, and reliability are essential.\nSolid understanding of transactions, concurrency, retries, reconciliation, and failure recovery.\nExperience supporting production systems, including monitoring, debugging, and incident management.\nComfortable working in fast-moving startup environments where priorities evolve quickly and engineers take ownership beyond writing code.\nStrong English communication skills and the ability to collaborate with distributed international
