Responsibilities\nIncludes but not limited to:\nDevelop electrical drawings including:Power distribution one-lines\nWiring diagrams and schematics\nControl system layouts\n\nPrepare 2D and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Solid Edge, SolidWorks, or similar platforms).\nCreate detailed 3D models and drawings for panel enclosures.\nEnsure drawings comply with company standards, electrical codes, and customer requirements.\nCoordinate with Product Engineers, Sales Engineers, and Mechanical Designers to resolve design conflicts.\nReview vendor drawings and incorporate approved equipment data into project documents.\nRevise drawings based on engineering markups and client feedback.\nMaintain drawing standards, document control, and revision logs.\nAssist in standardizing design templates, symbols, and drawing practices.\nSupport continuous improvement of design processes and shop efficiency.\nStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation practices.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nQualifications\nEducation:\nAssociate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology, Drafting Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).\nExperience:\n2-5+ years of electrical drafting/design experience (industrial or manufacturing preferred).\nTechnical Skills:\nProficiency in CAD software (2D & 3D modeling).\nKnowledge of electrical symbols, schematics, and industry drafting standards.\nUnderstanding of power systems, motor controls, PLC layouts, and instrumentation.\nAbility to perform basic electrical calculations.\nSoft Skills:\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nGood communication and teamwork
