These technicians must be well-rounded individuals who can perform efficient work on a variety of equipment, executing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance. These individuals are responsible for industrial machinery upkeep, working alone or with a crew.\nJob Duties\nEnsures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive and corrective maintenance requirements. Equipment and tools include motors, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, coupling and motor alignment, roller chain/sprockets alignment, conveyor systems, and production machines. Capable of following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications. Troubleshoots malfunctions and complies with NEC standards on wiring and installations.\nLocates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; and using precision measuring tools.\nRemoves defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools. Welding skills a plus.\nAdjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, and alignment equipment.\nControls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.\nOptimizes maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.\nMaintains continuity among work teams by documenting actions, communicating irregularities, and scheduling correction of abnormalities.\nMaintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.\nTechnicians must be able to troubleshoot the following systems and processes while working the floor.\nAC Drives\nDC Drives\nServo Drives\nPLC\nHMI\nClose loop control systems\nAC, DC, and Servo Motors\nSkills Requirements:\nVOM\nMultimeter\nDC & AC Amperage Clamp Meter\nGeneral tools\nMechanic Skills\nDrill\nGrinder\nPneumatics\nHydraulics\nValves\nLubrication systems\n\nRequirements and Qualifications\nMust hold a certificate or diploma in a related field\nCompletion of an industrial maintenance apprenticeship program is a plus\nExperience with Industrial maintenance required;
