This is a full-time, on-site position based in Nairobi\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProcurement Management:\n\nDevelop & implement procurement strategies & policies.\n\nManage the entire procurement process from requisition to delivery\n\nEvaluate & select suppliers based on price, quality, & reliability\n\nSupplier Relationship Management:\n\nEstablish & maintain relationships with key suppliers\n\nNegotiate contracts, terms, & conditions with suppliers\n\nMonitor supplier performance & resolve any issues or disputes\n\nInventory Management:\n\nMonitor inventory levels & manage stock replenishment\n\nCoordinate with warehouse & logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials\n\nCost Management:\n\nAnalyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities\n\nImplement cost control measures without compromising quality\n\nCompliance & Documentation:\n\nMaintain accurate & up-to-date procurement records & documentation\n\nPrepare reports on procurement activities & performance metrics\n\nTabulate price changes\n\nRisk Management:\n\nMonitor market price changes & follow suppliers for shortages to stock outs\n\nMonitor seasonal items & sources with potential suppliers\n\nIdentify & mitigate procurement-related risks\n\nDevelop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions\n\nStakeholder Coordination:\n\nCollaborate with internal departments to understand & their procurement needs\n\nProvide guidance & support on procurement best practices\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in Procurement, supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field.\n\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the hardware industry.\n\nStrong negotiation & communication skills.\n\nProficiency in procurement software & Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in using Tally.
