Our goal is to become the strategic partner for businesses, their Architect of Trust.\nYour role\nAs Procurement Manager, your primary mission is to lead, coach, and grow a team of 5 to 10 IT Procurement Partners dedicated to our client portfolio.\nYou're a player-coach: you spend a significant part of your time on the ground, stepping into complex client situations, unblocking deals, and demonstrating what excellent procurement looks like in practice. This hands-on presence is what makes you credible with your team and with clients.\nBeyond day-to-day leadership, you own strategic initiatives aligned with the Procurement department's OKRs, and you contribute to shaping the methodologies and standards of the IT procurement practice.\nYou report directly to the VP Procurement.\nTeam Leadership & People Development\nManage, coach, and develop a team of 5 to 10 IT Procurement Partners,\n\nRun regular 1-to-1s, set individual objectives, and actively support each team member's growth and performance,\n\nFoster a strong team culture built on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement,\n\nIdentify skill gaps and build tailored development plans to upskill the team,\n\nOnboard new joiners and ensure smooth ramp-up on Najar's methodologies and tools.\n\nHands-on client delivery\nRemain actively involved in client situations: step in on calls,\n\nUnblock complex negotiations, and take the lead when senior expertise is needed,\n\nProactively surface weak signals and emerging client risks before they escalate,\n\nEnsure quality and consistency of delivery across client portfolio (IT, SaaS, hardware),\n\nMonitor team workload and priorities to ensure balanced allocation and on-time delivery.\n\nProcess & Continuous Improvement\nIdentify recurring blockers or patterns across the team and translate them into concrete process improvements,\n\nContribute to defining best practices, playbooks, and procurement standards,\n\nOwn and drive strategic initiatives aligned with the Procurement department's OKRs.\n\nPerformance & Reporting\nTrack team KPIs and individual performance metrics, and report regularly to the VP Procurement,\n\nContribute to all reviews and provide structured feedback on team dynamics and delivery quality.\n\nCross-functional Collaboration\nWork closely with the VP Procurement to align on priorities, headcount needs, and strategic direction,\n\nCollaborate with other Procurement Managers to ensure consistency of practices across teams,\n\nRelay field insights from the Procurement team to Product, Sales, and Leadership to inform platform evolution and go-to-market decisions.\n\nPreferred experience\nMust-haves\n4 to 7 years of experience in IT, SaaS, or hardware procurement, strategic sourcing, or procurement consulting,\n\nAt least 1 to 2 years managing or structuring a team, with a genuine interest in people development,\n\nComfortable operating as a player-coach: you lead by example and don't shy away from getting into the details of a deal,\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including with senior client contacts\n\nStrong ownership mindset : you take initiatives, follow through, and drive things to completion,\n\nFluent in French and English.\n\nNice-to-haves\nExperience in a fast-growing tech company or procurement outsourcing environment,\n\nFamiliarity with AI-driven procurement tools and data-based decision-making,\n\nExperience managing a multi-category scope (IT/SaaS, hardware).\n\nRecruitment process\nDiscovery meeting w/ our Talent Acquisition Manager - 45'\n\nMeeting w/ your manager - 60'\n\nBusiness case w/ our VP Procurement & Adrien, one of your future colleagues - 60'\n\nCulture Fit w/ our People Director - 45'\n\nMeeting w/ our CEO,Vincent - 45'\n\nWhat we offer\nRTT: For a better work-life balance,\n\nBSPCE: Benefit from Najar's growth,\n\nRemote Work: Flexibility with remote work options,\n\nWemind Insurance: 70% covered by the company,\n\nSwile Card: For your meals and more,\n\nBonus: One off-site per year and three on-sites per year to strengthen the team,\n\nWellness : Access to osteopathy sessions 2d/w at the office, all paid by Najar.\n\nReady to write the next chapter of Najar with us?
