We've built something that feels almost magical in its simplicity: change your runs-on line, mount your toolchain cache directory and suddenly your builds are 5x faster.\nAbout the role\nWe're looking for a Finance Lead to own and build out the finance function at Namespace as we scale.\nThis is a hands-on role for someone who can connect the day-to-day financial operations of the business with a clear view of where we're going. You'll own budgeting, forecasting, cash and runway planning, and financial reporting, while helping us understand the economics behind our infrastructure investments and business.\nYou will be working closely with our leadership team on hardware investments, leasing, unit economics and planning ahead. You'll also coordinate our external accountants and other finance partners and continuously improve the systems and processes behind how we manage the business.\nWe're looking for someone who is comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup, enjoys building things from the ground up, and can move easily between financial models, operational details, and strategic decisions.\nOur culture\nWe're looking for people with grit-people who push through ambiguity, take ownership, and keep going when things get hard. that give us a clear view of company performance and future scenarios\n\nOwn financial reporting and provide leadership with clear visibility into performance, spend, and key financial metrics\n\nDevelop a strong understanding of our cost structure, unit economics, and profit margins\n\nModel the economics of hardware and infrastructure investments, including purchasing, financing, and leasing\n\nPartner with leadership on major financial and investment decisions\n\nManage and coordinate external accountants, tax advisors, and other finance partners across the countries where we operate\n\nOwn and continuously improve our financial processes, controls, and systems as the company scales\n\nWhat we're looking for\nExperience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling\n\nExperience working in a startup or similarly fast-moving environment, ideally helping build or scale a finance function\n\nExperience with hardware, infrastructure, or lease management\n\nStrong understanding of cost structures, unit economics, and margin analysis\n\nExperience managing accountants and external finance partners\n\nYou can translate financial data into clear insights and recommendations for leadership\n\nYou’re comfortable digging into the details while keeping the bigger financial picture in mind\n\nYou’re highly organized and able to manage
