The role focuses on developing intelligent assistants for air traffic management by integrating LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, AI agents, operational data, and user-facing applications.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and integrate AI-enabled applications for the Digital ATCO Assistant project.\nBuild end-to-end systems that combine LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, AI agents, tool calling, workflow orchestration, and operational data sources.\nIntegrate AI components with existing enterprise systems through APIs, databases, authentication mechanisms, and message-based services.\nDevelop backend services, user interfaces, and system connectors for prototypes and pilot deployments.\nImplement evaluation, logging, monitoring, traceability, and feedback mechanisms for AI-assisted workflows.\nWork with domain experts and controllers to convert operational use cases into system requirements and test scenarios.\nSupport system testing, demonstration, technical documentation, and deployment activities.\nContribute to technical reports, project proposals, publications, and collaboration with academic, industry, and regulatory partners.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.\nAt least one year of relevant experience in software engineering, systems integration, AI application development, or enterprise technology delivery.\nStrong experience with Python, backend development, APIs, databases, and system integration.\nExperience developing or integrating LLM applications, RAG systems, AI agents, or agent orchestration workflows.\nAbility to develop reliable end-to-end prototypes rather than standalone AI models.\nGood communication skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.\nExperience or interest in aviation, air traffic management, human-AI teaming, or safety-critical AI
