This hands-on position plays a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations, minimizing downtime, and ensuring equipment reliability.\nKey Responsibilities\nDiagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission systems.\nPerform product and machine changeovers on manufacturing equipment.\nConduct preventive maintenance activities according to established schedules.\nInstall, modify, rebuild, and upgrade production equipment and facility systems.\nLead or participate in maintenance projects from planning through completion based on experience and skill level.\nUtilize diagnostic tools, measurement equipment, and maintenance software to document repairs, labor, and parts usage.\nMaintain accurate maintenance records and work order documentation.\nOperate a variety of fabrication, machining, welding, and maintenance equipment.\nEnsure compliance with all safety policies, GMP requirements, and SQF standards.\nTrain, mentor, and support fellow maintenance team members as needed.\nPromote a positive, safe, and team-oriented work environment.\nEquipment You'll Work With\nLathes\nMilling Machines\nDrill Presses\nHydraulic Presses\nBand Saws\nGrinders and Sanders\nThreading Machines\nWire, Stick, and Aluminum Welders\nPumps\nAir Compressors\nForklifts\nDiagnostic and Measurement Equipment\nPowered and Non-Powered Hand Tools\nQualifications\nCandidates will be considered based on a combination of maintenance experience, technical aptitude, education, certifications, and demonstrated skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nRamsey Maintenance Test score of 40 or higher and/or relevant industrial maintenance experience.\nManufacturing or industrial maintenance experience preferred.\nAssociate degree in a Mechanical, Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, Electronics, Robotics, or related technical field preferred but not required.\nStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.\nExperience with fabrication, welding, machining, and equipment repairs.\nAbility to read schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.\nProficiency with diagnostic tools and measuring equipment.\nStrong communication, judgment, decision-making, and time management skills.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\nAbility to prioritize workload and adapt to changing production needs.\nWillingness to work alternate shifts as needed for training, vacation coverage, or business requirements.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.\nComfortable working around moving machinery and industrial equipment.\nReasonable Accommodations Statement\nTo accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
