AWS/GCP\n\nLooking for Immediate joiners\n\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with 6 - 9 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data platforms.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines for batch and near-real-time data processing.\nDevelop and optimize data models and transformation pipelines using Snowflake and dbt (Data build Tool).\nBuild, schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot workflows using Apache Airflow.\nWork with Astronomer for managing and operating Airflow environments.\nDevelop reusable and modular DAGs following Airflow best practices.\nDesign efficient data warehouse solutions using Snowflake, including databases, schemas, tables, views, stages, and related objects.\nDevelop complex SQL queries and optimize them for performance and cost.\nImplement data transformation, cleansing, validation, and enrichment processes using dbt (Data build Tool).\nDevelop and maintain dbt models, tests, macros, snapshots, and documentation.\nWork with cloud services on GCP or AWS to build and support data engineering solutions.\nIntegrate data from multiple sources into Snowflake and downstream data platforms.\nImplement data quality checks and ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data.\nMonitor data pipelines and proactively troubleshoot failures and performance issues.\nOptimize Snowflake workloads, queries, storage, and compute usage.\nImplement appropriate logging, monitoring, alerting, and error-handling mechanisms.\nWork with CI/CD processes for deploying data engineering code across environments.\nFollow best practices for version control, code reviews, testing, and deployment.\nCollaborate with architects, analysts, data scientists, application teams, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.\nParticipate in technical discussions and contribute to data platform architecture and design decisions.\nMentor junior and mid-level data engineers and provide technical guidance where required.\nMust-Have Skills\n6 – 9 years of overall experience in Data Engineering.\nStrong hands-on experience with Snowflake.\nStrong hands-on experience with dbt (Data Build Tool).\nStrong experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.\nExperience working with Astronomer and managing Airflow environments.\nStrong SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, CTEs, window functions, and query optimization.\nHands-on experience with at least one cloud platform:\nGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP), or\nAmazon Web Services (AWS)\nExperience designing and supporting production-grade data pipelines.\nGood understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts.\nExperience with Git and standard software development practices.\nGood understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data integration.\nEducation\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.\nEquivalent technical experience may also be
