This role offers the opportunity to work with modern data technologies, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and make a meaningful impact on the future of NASCAR through data-driven innovation.\nWhat You Will Do:\nCollaborate with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs.\nTranslate defined business requirements into data solutions.\nDevelop and maintain data pipelines using SQL and Python.\nBuild integrations across data platforms, including API-based sources.\nApply data modeling principles to prepare datasets for reporting, analytics, and business operations.\nWrite clear, maintainable code that follows team development standards.\nImplement data quality checks and investigate discrepancies to improve accuracy, completeness, and consistency.\nTest changes, participate in code reviews, and support established deployment procedures.\nFollow established data governance, privacy, and security standards.\nDocument data workflows, transformations, and business rules.\nWhat You Will Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.\nUp to two years of relevant experience.\nWorking knowledge of SQL and foundational Python skills.\nUnderstanding of relational databases, data modeling, ETL/ELT concepts, and data quality principles.\nFamiliarity with Git or another version control system.\nStrong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.\nExposure to Snowflake, Apache Airflow, or comparable data platforms.\nFamiliarity with AWS services, such as Amazon S3.\nExperience working with APIs and structured or semi-structured data.\nFamiliarity with automated testing or GitHub Actions.\nInterest in or experience within sports, entertainment, or media.\nStrong attention to detail and a commitment to data quality.\nEnthusiasm for working with data and building practical solutions.\nAbility to manage priorities and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.\nWhy This Role?\nThis is an opportunity to help shape and scale NASCAR’s data ecosystem by building the pipelines, integrations, and trusted datasets that power business operations, analytics, and strategic decision-making across the organization.
