In this role, you’ll partner with Finance, Payroll, and Benefits to ensure accurate financial records, turn data into actionable insights, and improve processes. This position will be based in Daytona Beach, Florida.\nWhat You’ll Do\nReconcile payroll bank, benefit, liability, and tax accounts; investigate discrepancies and recommend solutions.\nPrepare payroll journal entries and support month-end close in accordance with internal policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).\nPartner with Finance to maintain accurate general ledger mappings and payroll accounting interfaces.\nSupport salary and benefit budgets and forecasts using Workday and Adaptive Planning, including data transfers, trend analysis, and projections.\nAnalyze salary and benefit expenses against budgets and forecasts, and create reports that help leaders understand variances and opportunities for improvement.\nPerform quarterly 401(k) participation and deferral audits, coordinate corrections, and support the annual plan audit.\nProvide data and documentation for corporate tax reporting, workers’ compensation audits, census requests, and other audits.\nCreate standard and ad hoc reports and support special projects for Payroll, Benefits, and Human Resources.\nHelp improve processes and develop training materials for reporting tools, Workday, and Adaptive Planning.\nProvide backup support for day-to-day payroll operations as needed.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nA bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and 1-3 years of finance or related experience in a midsize to large organization.\nPayroll experience.\nStrong Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.\nExperience creating and maintaining reports in business reporting systems.\nExperience with Workday and Adaptive Planning is a plus.\nStrong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial and technical information.\nClear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain financial findings to leaders and cross-functional teams.\nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to travel occasionally, with less than 5% travel expected.\nWhy This Role?\nPut your financial skills to work behind the scenes of NASCAR.
