You'll join a fast-paced, project-oriented team focused on reliability at scale while helping shape the future of AI-driven operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, build, operate, and continuously improve AI agents that automate operational, engineering, and support workflows. \nDevelop agent orchestration frameworks using large language models (LLMs), tool integrations, structured workflows, and workflow-based automation patterns. \nBuild and maintain automation pipelines that combine AI reasoning and decision-making with deterministic systems, controls, and operational processes. \nImplement Python-based services supporting AI agent execution, control, and integration with internal platforms including APIs, ITSM systems, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools. \nDesign and evolve CI/CD pipelines for AI-enabled services and automation platforms. \nServe as an escalation point for complex AI and automation issues while identifying opportunities to improve reliability and reduce manual effort through agentic automation. \nDocument architectures and workflows, research emerging AI technologies, and develop proofs of concept to evaluate new capabilities. \nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. \nExpert-level Python development experience with strong knowledge of automation and orchestration frameworks. \nExperience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines, working with Git, and integrating systems through REST APIs. \nProficiency in YAML and JSON. \nExperience building AI agents, autonomous systems, or AI-driven automation solutions, with familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and tool-calling frameworks. \nExperience combining AI decision logic with deterministic automation and designing event-driven, workflow-based systems. \nStrong analytical and systems-thinking skills. \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently in ambiguous environments and collaborate effectively across global teams. \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Terraform, infrastructure-as-code practices, Ansible, or other configuration management tools. \nExperience with AWS cloud technologies and/or AWS professional certifications would be considered an asset. \nExperience with JavaScript, databases, and modern application development technologies. \nExperience working within financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries. \nThis position will be located in New York City, Philadelphia, Atlanta, or Denver and offers the opportunity for ahybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.\nThis posting is for an existing vacancy within Nasdaq.\nApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; Nasdaq will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa)\nCome as You Are\nNasdaq is an equal opportunity employer.
