As a Junior Software Engineer reporting to Senior Director of Software Engineering, you'll play a critical role in building the Java services and React/TypeScript applications that power a new R&D team focused on responsible AI for global financial markets. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain backend services using Java and Spring, and develop user-facing applications using React and TypeScript, owning capabilities end to end. Design and implement secure integrations using REST and modern agent-to-agent protocols, ensuring quality through unit testing, manual validation, and test automation. Contribute to requirements analysis and architecture discussions, following and shaping decisions that affect team delivery. Collaborate with DevOps on deployment automation, observability, and portfolio security across environments.
