Based in Manila and working within a globally distributed team, you'll support mission-critical services and drive continuous improvement across our FinTech Platform Operations organization.\nYou'll thrive in this position if you're hands-on, solutions-oriented, and passionate about building resilient systems in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.\nWhat You’ll Do\nManage incidents and problems through resolution, including technical diagnosis, recovery coordination, and follow-up actions with relevant teams.\n\nTest, plan, and deploy changes to cloud systems to strengthen reliability, operational excellence, and customer outcomes.\n\nDrive observability, automation, patching, vulnerability management, and capacity practices across cloud platforms.\n\nFacilitate disaster recovery tests, business continuity activities, change events, and operational readiness exercises.\n\nCoordinate cross-functional operational initiatives with global engineering, security, product support, and customer delivery teams.\n\nProvide clear, structured communication during incidents and changes, including impact, recovery status, risks, and next steps.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\n8+ years of experience supporting 24x7x365 mission-critical production environments in financial services, cloud operations, or managed services.\n\nStrong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI), Linux, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.\n\nSolid experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.\n\nProficiency in monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog or AWS CloudWatch.\n\nStrong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPNs, and routing.\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues and recovery plans to both technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nFlexibility to work on a 4-day work week schedule (Mon - Tue - Fri - Sat) covering morning to afternoon hours.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nProfessional-level certification in AWS, Azure, or OCI.\n\nITIL certification or equivalent service management experience.\n\nExperience in financial services environments or knowledge of relational database platforms (Oracle, PostgreSQL).\n\nWork Schedule & Location\nThis is a permanent, full-time role based in Bonifacio Global City, Philippines, operating on a hybrid work model with at least two days per week in the office.\nThis role follows a 4-day work week (Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday), covering the Australian time zone (8:00 AM - 7:00 PM AEST / 10 hours per day including a 1-hour break).\nBenefits & Rewards\nWe offer a competitive, well-rounded rewards package designed to support the financial, physical, and emotional well-being of our employees and their families (where applicable).\nIn return, you can expect HMO coverage for you and your dependents, employee stock purchase plan, equity grant, retirement plan, annual bonus, free counseling sessions, subscription to e-learning platforms, fitness, wellness, and more.\nWe utilize a structured job architecture and career framework to ensure growth opportunities are transparent, fair, and accessible to all employees.\nFor more information, visit Nasdaq Benefits & Rewards Career Page.\nCome as You Are\nNasdaq is an equal opportunity employer.
