What You'll Do
SupportEqlipseTrading customers across the AMER region by investigating issues,providingtechnical guidance, and delivering high-quality solutions.
Develop, test, andmaintainJava-based trading applications while leveraging AI-powered development tools and agentic workflows to improve productivity and code quality.
Analyze production environments, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with global teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
Work with trading protocols, market data, and order management workflows while buildingexpertisein electronic trading systems.
Partner with customers and internal stakeholders across multiple regions to support service releases, integrations, onboarding activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years of software development experience with strong Java programming skills and working knowledge of Python and SQL.
Experience troubleshooting technical issues and solving problems in complex application environments.
Strong communicationskills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Interestin financial technology, electronic trading systems, and working directly with customers in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code,Opencode, or Kiro.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments, FIX protocol, order management systems, or capitalmarketstechnology.
Experience supporting customers, working with distributed systems, messaging middleware, or high-performance applications.

This position willbe located inToronto and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
Work Environment & Schedule
Timezone Coverage: AMER business hours (EST/PST), with some flexibility for customer trading hours
On-Call Rotation: Occasional participation in after-hours on-call support (with team backup and mentorship)
Customer Interaction:Regular, direct engagement with customer technical teams via calls, video conferences, and ticketing systems
Collaboration: Close coordination with experienced developers in CAN, EMEA, and APAC regions
Mentorship: Structured onboarding and ongoing mentorship from senior team members

The base pay range for this role is $86,000 - $118,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
