NPTR gives Exchange members the ability to define, monitor and enforce risk limits on the trading activity of their trading participants. Exchange members are able to control the trading risk exposure at the level of a single trading participant, or for a group of trading participants. PTR will enforce the risk limits, reject orders that exceed the limits, and also notify PTR users when pre-set limit thresholds are crossed.\nWith this position we offer:\nStepping into this role, you and the team will work with PTR focusing on programming large, distributed systems with low latency and high availability. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also collaborate with Nasdaq teams across different countries.\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable software applications for Nasdaq’s market platform.\nWrite clean, well-tested code and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality standards.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.\nIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks.\nParticipate in the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment.\nContribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, engineering practices, and technical standards.\nSupport the integration of platform components with internal and external systems.\nWork closely with architects and delivery leads across product teams to ensure seamless integration and collaboration between system components.\nBuild and maintain automated tests to ensure product quality and reliability.\nEnsure the performance, scalability, and reliability of the platform.\nActively participate in incident analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution when issues arise.\n\nWhat you would bring to the team:\nMust have 6+ years of strong technical background with extensive experience in Java development.\nExcellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment while supporting demanding users.\nPassion for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and mentoring junior team members.\nExperience with AWS cloud technologies, including EKS.\nHands-on experience with CI/CD practices and tooling.\nExperience working in Agile teams using Scrum, Kanban, or similar methodologies.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.\nIt would be great if you also have:\nExperience in the Financial Field.\nExperience in developing low latency applications and have experience in writing GC-Free code.\nExperience in deploying systems both in the cloud and on prem.\nExperience with the Scrum Champion role.\nDoes it sound like you?\nAs the selection process is ongoing, please submit your application in English as soon as possible.
