Reporting to an AVP of Product Strategy, you’ll work with one of the largest consolidated fraud data sets in financial services, using transaction and fraud data from across our network to uncover emerging threats, identify patterns, and help financial institutions strengthen their fraud strategies.\nYou’ll work at the intersection of fraud threat intelligence, data analysis, and client strategy, turning complex data into actionable insights for our clients, product teams, and internal partners.\nYou’ll fit right in if you’re naturally curious, analytical, and investigative, and you love digging into data to understand not only what is happening, but why.\nWhat You’ll Do\nHunt for emerging fraud threats and patterns across transaction data, case data, marked fraud, and other signals within the Verafin network. \nTurn fraud intelligence into actionable insights, helping clients and internal teams quickly understand emerging activity, attack patterns, and opportunities to respond. \nAnalyze how enterprise clients use Verafin scores and data within their fraud strategies and identify opportunities to improve fraud detection and reduce false positives. \nPartner across Product, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing to translate your findings into client recommendations, product improvements, and broader fraud intelligence. \nHelp scale how we analyze fraud, exploring automation, AI, and data architecture improvements that make threat hunting and strategy analysis more repeatable and efficient. \nWhat You’ll Bring\n5+ years of experience in fraud analytics, fraud strategy, or related areas. \nStrong SQL and data analysis skills, with experience working with large, complex transactional data sets. \nStrong understanding of fraud typologies and financial services, including areas such as scams, account takeover, and payment fraud. \nProven ability to spot patterns and anomalies in complex data and turn them into clear, practical recommendations. \nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to tell a compelling data story to both technical teams and non-technical clients. \nNice to Have\nExperience with AI/ML concepts, automation, or agentic AI tools. \nExperience working with enterprise financial institutions or within fraud/cybersecurity threat intelligence. \nFamiliarity with payment systems and analytical tools, including Python, R, or data visualization platforms. \nThis position can be located in New York, Toronto, St. John’s, Philadelphia, or Atlanta and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.\nCome as You Are\nNasdaq is an equal opportunity employer.
