You'll Own\nWORKPLACE OPERATIONS\nOwn the daily operation of the San Francisco office, including opening readiness, workplace standards, supplies, food and beverage programs, mail, visitors, conference rooms, and shared spaces.\n\nSupport the Charleston office on a virtual basis, coordinating supplies, vendors, events, and other on-the-ground needs so that the team there has the same quality of experience as headquarters.\n\nManage shipping and logistics for laptops and IT equipment, including inbound and outbound shipments for new hires, departures, repairs, and replacements, in partnership with IT.\n\nAssist Marketing with the logistics of Nash swag, including inventory, and distribution to employees, new hires, events, and customers, following the brand and design direction set by Marketing.\n\nServe as the primary point of contact for the landlord, building management, workplace vendors, and service providers.\n\nManage workplace vendors and contracts, including sourcing, scheduling, service-quality reviews, renewals, and issue resolution.\n\nMaintain a safe, functional, secure, and welcoming workplace in partnership with People, IT, Finance, and building management.\n\nCoordinate office access, visitor protocols, seating plans, equipment logistics, and workplace communications.\n\nBuild practical office procedures, inventories, calendars, checklists, and service standards that can scale as the team grows.\n\nTrack workplace spending, reconcile invoices, manage purchase requests, and identify opportunities to improve quality or cost.\n\nSupport emergency-preparedness practices, workplace notices, and health and safety coordination in partnership with the appropriate internal and external owners.\n\nEVENTS AND OFFSITES\nOrganize executive offsites and all company events, including team gatherings, leadership meetings, celebrations, and multi-day offsites, from concept through post-event review.\n\nSupport Marketing on conferences and external events as needed, helping with logistics such as travel coordination, shipping, vendor follow-up, and on-site support, while Marketing continues to lead event strategy, programming, and its event partners.\n\nTranslate company event goals into clear plans covering venue selection, travel, lodging, catering, programming, accessibility, production, communications, budgets, and contingency planning.\n\nCreate detailed project plans, run-of-show documents, attendee communications, vendor briefs, and decision timelines for company events and offsites.\n\nPartner with COO, Marketing, and HR to design experiences that reinforce Nash's strategy, values, and culture.\n\nManage Offsite budgets, negotiate with vendors, track commitments, and reconcile final costs.\n\nGather feedback and use participation, budget, and experience data to improve future programs.\n\nEMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE\nBuild and reinforce Nash's culture across a remote team as our virtual cheerleader: lead recognition, celebrations, and engagement on Slack, help shape all-hands, and create rituals that keep remote employees connected.\n\nDesign thoughtful experiences and rituals, both virtual and in-office, that strengthen connection, belonging, recognition, and collaboration.\n\nSupport the workplace elements of onboarding and offboarding, including equipment shipping, desk readiness, access coordination, welcome moments, and equipment returns, in partnership with People and IT.\n\nCoordinate employee milestones, team lunches, customer visits, recruiting days, and other high-touch moments.\n\nMaintain clear workplace and event communications so employees know what is happening, why it matters, and what is expected of them.\n\nAct as a trusted, service-minded resource while applying policies consistently and protecting confidential or sensitive information.\n\nIdentify friction in the employee experience and propose practical, scalable fixes rather than waiting for direction.\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\nRemote and in-office employees feel connected to each other and to Nash's culture, and engagement on Slack and at all-hands is strong.\n\nThe San Francisco and Charleston offices operate reliably, and workplace issues are resolved quickly with minimal disruption.\n\nLaptops, equipment, and swag reach the right people on time, and new hires are set up before their first day.\n\nCompany events and offsites are delivered on time, within budget, and with clear goals, strong participation, and thoughtful execution, and Marketing has dependable support for conferences and external events whenever they ask for it.\n\nEmployees receive timely, accurate information and experience consistent standards across workplace programs.\n\nVendors are well managed, spending is visible, and workplace processes become more scalable over time.\n\nLeaders and employees see you as a proactive operator who combines urgency, sound judgment, discretion, and care.\n\nWhat You Bring\n4+ years of experience in workplace operations, office management, employee experience, events, hospitality, or a related role; startup or high-growth experience is strongly preferred.\n\nExperience building culture and engagement for remote or distributed teams.\n\nDemonstrated experience planning complex company events, and offsites, with multiple vendors, stakeholders, schedules, and budget constraints.\n\nExperience coordinating shipping and equipment logistics is a plus.\n\nStrong project-management skills and a record of carrying work from an ambiguous request through final execution and follow-up.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication, with the judgment to tailor information for employees, executives, vendors, candidates, and guests.\n\nExperience managing budgets, invoices, vendor relationships, and contract workflows.\n\nHigh attention to detail without losing sight of the broader employee or business outcome.\n\nComfort using workplace, productivity, expense, and event-management tools, and a willingness to learn and automate repeatable workflows.\n\nThe ability to stay calm, adaptable, and focused on the fix when priorities or plans change quickly.\n\nSound judgment and discretion when handling confidential employee, executive, or company information.\n\nThe ability to perform the essential functions of this role, including moving throughout the office, setting up spaces, and occasionally moving workplace or event materials, with or without reasonable accommodation.\n\nAbout Nash\nNash is the platform that powers modern logistics. We unify decisioning, execution, and capacity into a single programmable system that coordinates fleets, carriers, and fulfillment networks in real time, so businesses can keep the promises they make to their customers in a physical world that refuses to sit still.\nNash is at a stage where individual ownership matters. We have meaningful customers and market traction, and we are still small enough for each person to shape how the business operates and scales. Nash is headquartered in San Francisco and backed by investors including Y Combinator and a16z.\nHOW WE WORK\nOur culture is grounded in five core values:\nOwn the Outcome. Take responsibility for the result, not just the task. Anticipate obstacles, follow through, and close the loop.\n\nEveryone Ships. Turn ideas into useful work. Contribute beyond functional boundaries and help the team make progress.\n\nSeek Truth. Lead with curiosity, evidence, and candor. Surface risks early and pursue the best answer rather than the most convenient one.\n\nASAP-ASAP. Operate with urgency and sound judgment. Distinguish what needs action now from what can wait, and move decisively.\n\nDesign Matters. Care about the quality of the experience. Build systems, communications, and environments that are clear, thoughtful, and durable.\n\nYour work will reflect these principles through accountability, collaboration, commitment to excellence, and the ability to move with urgency while holding a high bar.\nBenefits\nCompetitive compensation and equity, flexible paid time off, health, dental, and vision coverage, a work-from-home stipend, family leave, and regular team events. Eligibility and plan terms are governed by the applicable benefit plans and company policies.\nLegal Disclosures\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nNash is an equal opportunity employer. Employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion or creed, ancestry, national origin, citizenship or immigration status, age, sex, pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding or related medical conditions, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital status, registered domestic partner status, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, military or veteran status, reproductive health decision-making, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law. Nash also prohibits retaliation against individuals who exercise rights protected by law.\nReasonable Accommodation\nNash is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities and for sincerely held religious beliefs, consistent with applicable law. If you need an accommodation to participate in the application or interview process, please notify your recruiting contact or submit a request through the application process.\nFair Chance Hiring\nPursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, Nash will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.\nApplicant Privacy\nNash collects and processes applicant personal information for recruiting, employment, compliance, and related business purposes. California applicants will receive Nash's California Applicant Privacy Notice at or before the point at which personal information is collected through the application process.\nCompensation\nThe pay scale above is Nash's good-faith estimate of the hourly rate it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. The final rate will depend on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and business needs. This position may also be eligible for equity and benefits. The pay scale does not include the value of equity, benefits, or other forms of compensation.\nMore aboutNash\nNash is the platform that powers modern logistics.\nCommerce has inverted. For decades, customers came to where products and services were. Now products and services come to them, on their terms, in real time. That shift has turned every company into a logistics company, even though almost none of them were built to be one. Couriers, fleets, gig workers, parcel carriers, in-store labor, and increasingly autonomous systems all have to be coordinated in real time, against tighter windows and rising expectations, with hard-fought customer trust on the line.\nNash unifies decisioning, execution, and capacity into a single programmable platform. Real-time, AI-native intelligence determines what should happen, operational control executes it, and the platform dynamically orchestrates capacity from any source: a company's own fleets, partners, or the Nash delivery network. Whether a job involves a courier, a gig driver, an internal fleet, a store employee, a technician, or an autonomous vehicle, Nash selects the right resource and manages execution through completion.\nWe power delivery and logistics for some of the most recognizable brands in commerce, including Walmart, Urban Outfitters, 7-Eleven, and Woolworths, alongside platforms like Shopify and Toast. Over the next decade, logistics will become as foundational to commerce as payments, cloud, and connectivity. Nash is the platform that powers it.\nNash was founded in 2021 by Mahmoud Ghulman (2x Founder, MIT) and Aziz Alghunaim (2x Founder, 2x YC, Ex-Palantir, MIT) and is backed by Y Combinator, a16z, and other top investors. We are headquartered in San Francisco.\nWhat You’ll Love About Us\nEarly-stage, well-funded startup - directly impact the company and grow your career!\nQuarterly broader team on-sites to bond with teammates\nCom...","description_format":"text","description_chars":12125,"description_truncated":true,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":4,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Company events","Equity","Parental leave","Vision insurance"],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Commerce","Transportation & Logistics","Logistics","AI Agents"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-09T01:43:38Z"},{"event":"close","at":"2026-10-21T19:21:59Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"US","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"H-1B filings in 12 months: 1","filings_12m":1,"filings_prev_12m":0,"green_card_filings_12m":0,"median_offered_wage_usd":92500,"route":null,"cap_exempt":false,"checked_at":"2026-10-15T11:24:14+00:00","sources":["US Department of Labor: LCA disclosure data (H-1B, H-1B1, E-3)"],"filings_for_role_12m":0}],"liveness":null,"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":110000,"is_top_pay":true},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/nash-workplace-employee-experience-manager","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/nash-workplace-employee-experience-manager.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-22T11:05:15Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":8753,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-23T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":678645},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=678645"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fnash-workplace-employee-experience-manager"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fnash-workplace-employee-experience-manager"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fnash-workplace-employee-experience-manager"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/nash-workplace-employee-experience-manager\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fnash-workplace-employee-experience-manager"}]}
