Hands-on experience building robust and scalable platforms with zero-downtime deployments across numerous customer environments.\nStrong software engineering foundations - you write clean, maintainable, testable code and have a solid grasp of system design. Have strong command of Go, plus working knowledge of Python. Comfort with Rust is also valued.\nInfrastructure expertise - understanding of what it takes to build software that runs in cloud, on-premises, and air-gapped environments, including managing offline content, mirroring and provenance. Experience with HA stateful deployments including backup/restore and replication.\nCloud native - fundamental understanding of Kubernetes primitives, how to debug live issues and how to harness infrastructure as code for deployment.\nAPI and service design maturity - experience designing APIs, CLIs and SDKs and APIs across multi-service systems with attention to versioning and backward compatibility.\nUser code execution - experience building systems that run user code safely, robustly, and securely, with an understanding of sandboxing, isolation, and threat models.\n Security awareness - experience designing for security requirements, including authentication and access control (e.g., OIDC, RBAC), and taking part in security testing and compliance workflows.\nReliability and observability mindset - experience providing QoS guarantees, implementing monitoring and alerting, and optimising observability in production.\nCommunication and leadership - excellent communication skills to understand customer needs and translate them into technical specifications. Experience mentoring engineers and facilitating technical decisions.\nIncremental mindset - you work in small steps toward larger goals, driving change through continuous improvement rather than massive redesigns.
