need to be able to commute to London occasionally for client meetings or team sessions.\nKey Responsibilities\nConsulting & Solution Design: Collaborate closely with client stakeholders to understand their business objectives and technical requirements, providing expert advice and designing best-practice cloud solutions on AWS or Azure.\n Infrastructure Build & Deployment: Lead the hands-on implementation and deployment of cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.\nData Platform Enablement: Architect and build the foundational cloud services required to support modern data platforms, including data lakes, data warehouses, and machine learning environments.\nAutomation & CI/CD: Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment, testing, and integration of infrastructure and applications.\nManaged Services & Support: Provide ongoing operational support and maintenance for client cloud environments as part of our managed services offering, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.\nSecurity & Governance: Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, cost management strategies, and governance policies to ensure client environments are secure, compliant, and cost-effective.\nTechnical Pre-Sales: Assist the sales team in a technical capacity during pre-sales engagements, including contributing to proposals and presenting technical solutions to prospective clients.\n Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Act as a subject matter expert within the business, mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to internal best practices and knowledge bases.\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\nSubstantial commercial experience in a DevOps or Cloud Consultant role, with a proven ability to deliver end-to-end solutions. \nIn-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with core Amazon Web Services (AWS) services (e.g., EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, Glue, EKS/ECS).\nStrong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.\nExperience with scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.\nSolid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with tools like Jenkins, Github Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.\nKnowledge of containerisation technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, ECS).\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nA consultative mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\nComfortable working in agile, client-facing environments with autonomy and ownership.\nNice to have:\nAWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) or other relevant AWS certifications\nExperience working in other cloud environments (Azure, GCP)\nFamiliarity with building and
